I must admit, I truly love this games series. One of the best story lines and concept I've seen. So far I've done everything in chap 1 & 2 now I'm on the water temple. Just love the series!! Rock on Pseudo! *Salutes*

Listen guys, I lost Mardek files 4 times (long ones) and decide to put an end to it.What I did was to find the folder where the saves of Mardek are in my computer and copy the saves in another folder(one of my own creation).I basically made a backup, and I recopy the newest saves there every time I play.The saves folder usually is in C:\Users\Juanchez\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\SEJ9GEQU (the user name depends on yours computer), it is the one named chat.kongregate.com (it contains all of you kongregate games saves), or it could also be in C:\Users\Juanchez\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects .If your saves are erased just copy back the "saved" saves.You can also copy the saves in another computer to export your games.I hope this comment help someone.Sorry for my bad English.

@TwinAero the problem could be that the browser is told to remove web history when you close the browser.
otherwhise, the history shouldn't be deleted unless you delete the history manually.
and another way to solve it is to make a backup of your savefiles. (I don't remember where on the computer you find them, but if you google it you should find the answer.

I was having trouble with the game, because the battle scene wasn't loading in specific story-related battles. So I heard of this problem with the flash's drivers, where you must disable pepperflash. I did, and it worked! The game played smoothly well (I had to start over, because the save file was based on pepperflash), yesterday I was reaching Miasmal Citadel. I was so excited...
Today Google Chrome had an upgrade, which only uses pepperflash and now the games laggs badly, I miss most of my reactions even on the poorest quality! My game experience is ruined...

Sigh..... this is the Fifth time I lost my saves... I'm giving up finishing this chapter. The saves are gone overnight, Not after some lengthy vacation. so I really do not know what to do.

Well I'm officially annoyed. My save progress is gone. I've played through the game, even the optional bosses at the end on fighunter, but I know I at least started playing on here since I have the first badge. I'm using the same computer, same browser... -_- annoyance. All well, starting over i guess.

Sorry, I tried to reply to that last post and the bottom bit got chopped off... I basically just said my party levels for Karnos/Animus weren't that high - 41 for Mardek, 31 ish for Legion, 32 ish for Solaar, 36 ish for Gloria. And that it's more about approach than grinding.

A very fun game to play, up to the point where you have to grind monsters to raise your character from 35 to 50-55 for the impossible badge :S

This series is especially fun in that there is little sacrifice in removing an item once you have learned it's skill, in essence you are always wearing it. I keep reminding my friend of this fact but he says that it takes too much time. Oh well, he can have fun trying to fight stuff while his Vehrn only has 2 skills. Also love the music, I find myself whistling the music from the gem mines and the serpent cave when I'm bored. The loot system is pretty epic too. Pseudo posted that when he makes Chapter 4 he wants to eliminate the save slots screen to make it faster, but I disagree because sometimes you want to know if something is worth the risk and you save it on another slot in case you find out later that you messed everything up. I also think that Chapter 4 should go up to 5 friends, this may be what Pseudo is planning because there are 5 beds in the room of the crashed "temple" in the sandflow caves.

@RonKayam, every time you use a skill, you gain 1 AP. After gaining enough AP, the skill becomes "mastered", meaning that it can be used without the item that teaches it being equiped.

These mythril golems. A real pain. Takes forever to kill and I killed 5 of those suckers and got no mythril ore, then I found some in a chest at the entrance -.- I'm such an idiot

Some areas to improve on:
Character Portraits- My biggest problem, mostly because I've seen how much better you can draw. I mean, as they are, the characters are just ugly and seem to all have the same general face shape.
Balance- Donavan, the poor guy just isn't useful in any way after the Sun Temple. Literally everything he does can be done better by someone else. So.... In the future, just make sure every character remains useful throughout the game.
Menu- It's just kind of awkward having to use z,x, the arrow keys, and the mouse to navigate the menus, when it could be done with nothing but the mouse.
Just do be clear, I really do love the Mardek series, these are just some things I thought would be realistic for you to improve on.

ok thanks nova, they just seem impossible at the points you can still fight them :p, and I just noticed, isn't it a bit odd one lot of fairies are all "you're welcome here in our forest" when the other ones are taking every opportunity to try and end your lives

hmmm is it just me who wonders why modern places aren't as honest as the warport guys? if you use the gold pass you see just how blunt they are

can the security demons be beaten? I wanna beat them up for asking me repetitive and somewhat boring questions(and for accusing me of terrorism just because I'm a crippled bomb lover who hates the colour blue and doesn't take crap from security checkpoint people)

Oh my god. Where did my save file go? I had the latest flash, as far as I know, my cache has never been cleared and 61 hours are still gone. Any ideas as too what happened?

for any new payers or unaware veterans, ALWAYS MASTER YOUR SKILLS WITH AS MANY CHARACTERS POSSIBLE! Later in the game you will have a large selection of skills which helps a lot in most battles and all bosses.

Mardek looks as goofy as he did in chapter two (I only just loaded my ch 2 endgame save) now but he has a goofy helmet with 1 initial carved in it now :O

Went into the Astral Tunnel with a relatively low level and no spirit defense. Yeah, that was stupid. But even replaying it to get back up to that point has been so much fun. I like how there are so many options on how to achieve goals in the game and I'm totally ready for the next one!
