The game has a lot of potential, but you need a quicker way to ascend and to descend. The game also needs an ultimate goal and some hazards.
At first I had planned on your pirate being able to blow themselves up and/or drown. (which is why some pirates have the stronger swimming skill) Lack of time put that to a stop. Perhaps when I get around to revisiting it.

I curiously clicked the little red button in the bottom right to see what it would do. Oops. Now my game is restarted.

The only standout thing for this game is the different abilities that different pirates have, although I don't really know what they do outside of the little picture. (Why do I want two shovels vs. one?)
Do not play Glean and then play this game. Big letdown.

worst thing about the game is you have to return to the surface each time you need to upgrade because of some of the deapths you can reach you should be able to upgrade anywhere this would make the game more fun
i like how you can tell them to stop pumping so you can travel down a different path though

I don't like not being able to dig up or (while jumping) sideways. It's too annoying to get stuck and have to rely on the bell and bombs all the while missing out on booty!

I don't know if the ending is just a lame blue screen of if the game glitched.
A fun game but it needs more 'depth' and mechanics. And some kind of elevator system / super pump because the trip up and down took minutes and I just read a book.
And while I am swimming and my guy jumps and hits the ceiling he should not be just flung at mach 10 to the bottom.
I do like how it is really easy to see which treasure is more valuable.

bomb symbol: extra radius of explosion(careful not to blow up treasure!) shovel: extra mining speed Wave: extra swimming speed.
I plan on revisiting this game when I have more time. (but I don't really have much time for changes because talk like a pirate day is only a week away) I think a timer would work well if I made the pit able to have infinite depth... I'll keep that in mind

going all the way to the surface just to read the instructions is really quite dumb. I had no idea what i was doing and there was water everywhere... 3/5

Not a bad game. I got bored after a bit and never finished... It's a 3 at best. It's certainly not a new concept, and the art isn't revolutionary, but I've played much, much worse.. Good luck on any future projects.

Cute, enjoyable, but small and almost unplayable. Its not bad, but its not the best I ever played. Definatly took some of my time though. still fun.
