Whew! As one guy said, the later levels require a lot of luck, especially 70-72. Glad I'm done this badge. Great game, but frustrating at times if you can't find the first or second ball right away. They grow too large and become reinforced by ball 3 or 4.

"And now for something completely different". This game should be shown to those studying game design. The core shooting game is pretty standard aside from a clever control scheme, but look how it ties in with the minimalist presentation and the surreal soundtrack. The whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.

When you first start this game, you have no idea of the rules, it seems boring and has no meaning, but as you go further on you realise the efforts put in and the difference this game has from others. 5/5

great game but i just have one problem: too much luck is involved in the later levels for it to be called fun. i prefer using my brain or just enjoying the different powerups... but you can do everything right and still loose 20 times in a row. if somebody can beat these levels every single time and prove me wrong, i would like to see it because i can't conceive of any way i could possibly play any better. on level 70 right now, and i'm giving up because the few new things i'll see no longer seem worth the aggravation.

Ingenious for lack there of the stereotype of games. Way to not jump on the bandwagon. Thank you for deviating from the norm. I love it. 5/5

That moment when you are almost dead but the timer BARELY finishes as 1 more second would have killed you. *breathes sigh of relief* The music captures my terror

After a while, success or loss is decided in the first few seconds of each level: whether you can spot the first bubble fast enough... or not. Incredibly frustrating.

The game has such a great concept, many alternative modes of shooting and a lot of power-ups, but the amount of levels completely ruins everything. Around 30 I got extremely bored with it, and the realisation you're not even halfway then is horrible. Most levels are beatable at first try, but then around 70/71 you get some levels which are almost unbeatable, at least to me. The difficulty curve shouldn't vary so much. Overall good game.

Great idea, but the no-click idea goes a little too far with the pause/options menu - it keeps popping up while I'm firing and accidentally hovering over my ship. Put it in the corner instead?

hey after level twenty you need to start giving up some more powerups or something. its totally bs when all the bubbles spawn at the very edge so by the time you kill one its to late.

Oh and now on the 52nd level I suddenly realize the thing inside you is a timer that shows when the level ends! Haha, I am sooo observant!

Note that you can have your shots pass through multiple powerup circles so they combine and do more damage. Also, it would be really nice if you had a map of the whole area all the time (instead of as an occasional powerup) so you would know where to go or shoot.

This game isn't that hard. It's just a matter of knowing what the powerups do and using them effectively to start off a chain reaction which will net you more powerups and secure your victory. Of course, the hardest part is at the start where you have to find the spawning area which costs valuable time. Also, you gotta hope that it drops a good powerup because it's not a 100% drop rate. So I think this game is more luck than skill, as the powerups themselves determine your victory and shooting alone will not get you anywhere. I give it a 3/5 for originality.

@Furrion: You just didn't pay attention. Hover your mouse over the center of your gun/character/thingie for several seconds. It'll bring up the menu.

This game could use a quick restart. Especially in the later levels where you know you've lost in the first 5-10 seconds.

Really fun but also really long... And while the music is cool I can only listen to the same song so many times before you go crazy.

i think i just hit the quit button. im not sure though because there are warning messages or things telling me "THIS IS QUIT" i was on level 57

Some call the controls "clever", but I think they're fiddly. Muting the music was a chore in itself and in panic situations the pause menu kept popping up.

This game has good values, making you strategize and combine some auras to complete tricky levels, but to compensate for it's lack of everything else, it has some levels that are almost completely luck-based, even if you know how to beat them, if more than 2 white areas get too close to eachother, you're pretty much automatically dead unless you can isolate a new one and just pray it gives you a powerup you need.

I just finished it, and considering that I started yesterday it don't take as long as it seems (5-6h). Two areas was hard to understand for me: the one with gray circles in it - on level 72 I figured out its a minimap, sometimes can save live. The second one looks like cog - I haven't realized how it works even after beating all levels. Now about the game... what can I say, it totally captivated me.

The terrain affecting your shots is a great idea and the power-ups are brilliant. Especially the death ray, though it's hard to aim. After I got several of them, it was basically a net of death.
