I played it once and hated it. Gave it some time then came back to it. After a couple more tries I actually like it. Props to people who train "noobs" to keep the game alive

"Conquerors are like school bullies: They will only pick the weak, show them you are strong and they will not attack you" is totally right, except for those bullies will sometime make large groups and take on the strong.

Much better than Heroes of Gaia and the other strategical games like this. 1) because you wait less to do things 2) you get to pick the location of your castle 3) It has more servers than any other game like this so 1 server doens't become too over populated.

The game is good but i think the best part of this game is the tutorial. It is very good and simple and WAY WAY WAY better then hero's of gaia. nice work Tacticsoft xD

Guys, rating a game bad because of badges is like insulting the developers for doing a bad job, they give all their hard work into this stuff, and when somebody is looking for high rated MMOs to play, the badge hunters come in and ruin battledawn's chances for getting more players by rating the game badly, guys, cut tactisoft some slack, this is a awsome game which they work really hard on to manage,and they dont deserve these horrible reviews and comments

@all the players who are saying that this game is difficult, you're right. I is difficult the first time you play unless you are a complete natural. You either learn by trial-and-error or you might learn from somebody else. This game does take time to get used to, but it is possible. You just have to know how to get started, you can even start at tick 200 and get in the top 10, it's not impossible. It's a great game, I love if. 50/10

Those who say you need to pay to have fun clearly didnt gave the game a chance. Very few people donate and those who reach the top are smart, daring and active players, not noobs who pay. Those are rapidly destroyed, not to mention, unless a person is spending A LOT of money each week, the few extra resources and production boosts they gain are normally not relevant. Look at the market. There isnt overpowered things that make the game only for supporters. There isnt a special troop type, or a battle bonus or a special type of shield or missiles that need to be payed. Not to mention a lot of the good stuff can be purchased with blue tokens that you get by voting, completing achievements, or even capture in a lucky wreckage.

An all around great game - best MMORPG I have seen. There are alliances, 27 different units, 45 structures, and outposts which can be upgraded into missile silos, radars, gates, and training bases. Also there are tokens that YOU CAN GET FOR FREE, and relics, which win the game for you. But the best part is the pure fun of this game, the wars, havoc, betrayals, and all the strategy that goes along with it. LONG LIVE BATTLE DAWN!!!

This game is amazingly fun and addicting I always seem to quit playing, but will always come back and start again I always seem to quit when I either get a relic or come 1st in something too.. Oh well still one of the best games I ever played! + if you agree!

The reason people are annoyed by MMOs getting badges lies in the fact that badges only come every few days. Generally people who spend time on this site do so because of the concept of achievements, which are not so predominant on other flash game websites. In this way, they play games they may not enjoy simply for the metagame concept of achievements. Thus, obviously it is extremely annoying when something that is not a challenge but nothing more than time consuming, a poor quality of all MMOs, arrives with badges. Essentially, its a waste of time for people who would rather enjoy a challenge for their weekly set of badges rather than spend time grinding and doing the same old tired crap they did in sacred seasons and dream world.

idk i tried to enjoy this game but in the Fantasy world I got in once when it first generated a new world and did all my tutorials and built my club called OmegaMike and got some good stuff but the admin is named Mike so the next day I entered the game I went to check on my club and the Admin went in and changed my stuff to say I was a horrible self promoter and no one should join me and I was locked with it so I couldn't change it. I have no idea what I did wrong XD I couldn't think of a good name so I just went with that I didn't know the Admin was also named Mike but I never tried to impersonate an Admin so yeah as long as ur not named Mike and don't make a club with your own name in it u should be fine.

Do the tutorial up until the part where you build your barracks. That soldiers you trained? Wasted for more than 100 ticks. That outpost you built? It's gonna be captured by an alliance or a competent player in less than 15 ticks. Keep upgrading your resource structures up until your protection period is over. If you are patient and gutsy enough, you can cancel the protection period. This will get you bonus production but will cause you to be conquered. Not necessarily a bad thing since you don't have anything to lose (crystals, soldiers, outpost etc.) except the pathetically small tribute that you have to pay the conqueror. This will basically give you "protection", since most players tend to ignore already conquered colonies unless you manage to get a crystal.

To play this game and feel good about it, you will have to put alot of effort in time into this game, and if you're busy it would be kinda busy to manage this game. But anyways if you can't put the effort into playing this game so you can enjoy it, please don't rate this game badly. It deserves to be rated much better than it is.

Anyone else getting this connection time-out issue, the server not responding? Been experiencing it since yesterday, nowhere else but with this particular game only. Tried emptying the browser cache, flushing the dns resolver cache, all the usual remedies. To no avail.

It's a fun game, but it should be easier for a team that is super dominant to end the game. Having to wait for relics and then havoc before the game resets is very slow given when the dominant players seem to take control in the first 500 clicks or so.

Well when I/we say that if you give the game a little time, this is what we mean. You start out the game for your first time, with a fresh new colony. You have a good outlook on your future, admiring your three squads of units you worked hard to train. Then, you get destroyed by another player which you didn't stand a chance. You are disappointed, but with more experience under your belt and more units, but once again you and your feeble alliance that you may have joined never stood a chance. This is where others may quit. However, if you keep tryingyou learn new strategies and smart things to do, your rank rockets up getting you acess to much better alliances with better alliance mates. As you learn more and use your units wisely, you begin to get a reputation allowing you to get in alliances better than you ever have before. At this point, you would be around rank 70-50 usually. At this point you have plyed BD for a while now, and this is far past the point of enjoyment.

I'm not even playing for the badges, when I got the first one I was like, oh, this game has badges? Sure I'd like to get the other one as well but it's not exactly my first priority. I play this game simply because this is an awesome game and I've never seen a war game quite like it. This one moves slow enough that diplomacy is actually a major factor. Most war MMOs it's basically 'GRAAAAAAH!!!! CONQUER EVERYTHING!!!!!!' but with this one you have to cooperate with people while it still retains the basic strategic requirements of good war MMOs. It's too bad the rating system only lets you give up to five stars, but I gave it seven anyway, awesome game.
