That would be cool! I hadn't thought of it, but maybe controlling a specific ship would be possible. You should check out the GodSpace Galactic Beta though, it's got a lot more features.

Thanks! I'm currently working on a beta that should be public on Saturday. The new game will be called **GodSpace Galactic**, and feature a much more varied and extensive universe to explore. Current additions include light flares, planet and star varieties, and GodPower additions and modifications. Expect more updates in the near future, especially in preparation for the full release of GodSpace Galactic!

Very good idea, it's been noted, and I think I could add it pretty easily. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I'm excited to see where it goes! ***Edit: I made the health scale according to mass, which is currently calculated only when they absorb other objects, but after I release the mass gun, it will work with that too.
Haha, also, shoot a snuke around a black hole, and try to achieve slingshot orbit. You can use it to hurl them extremely fast behind you, but only if you aim just right lol
Alright, I finally had the chance to throw in a couple updates. I modified the ships to spawn less of them, and they mine faster and more in order to compensate. As far as tools, check out the new resizer and metal modifiers. Both work by adding with the left mouse button, and subtracting with the right. Also, music has finally been added. I personally find it quite fitting, but if you guys as the audiance would rather I chose something else, your guys' opinions matter more to me. I hope you enjoy this update, even though it's only a taste of what's to come.
Haha, I love the ideas, and I'm working on implementing them. The problem is I was too ADD and created three games at once that people want updated, and I'm not actually God (which is why I had to make a game where I could pretend to be one lol). However, I am dedicated to improving them, so all will receive their share of love and content. I really appreciate all of the comments, not only from you, but the others as well, and now I have a huge to do list ahead of me.

Haha, it was too long for one post. Spore is an amazing game, and one of my inspirations, so I'd love to incorporate some spore-like elements. As far as GodPowers go, I was thinking of using a "faith" meter in lieu of the traditional mana, which I need to work out exactly how to implement it, but it's a great idea! The GUI should be getting an update either today or tomorrow, along with some small tweaks. To anyone interested in helping me beta test updates before they go public, PM me, I'd be glad to send a link to the preview version. As I just worked out a save system for my other game, Reactive Inertia (a possible tie in) I should be able to work one out for this, hopefully soon. Anyways, I'm glad you enjoy it so much, and I'm excited to see what 2013 has in store for GodSpace.
Dang, I just wrote a huge comment, but it didn't post correctly... Anyways, the gist of it was: Thank you so much for the support and ideas, I'm glad you cared enough to not only post once, but come back and post a huge double post! I've taken into account what you said about the ships (they spawn a limited amount (which can be modified, perhaps based on resources such as food/atmosphere), and they don't turn instantly anymore, which looks so much better. Multiplayer would be awesome, and once I've gotten the single player refined enough, I'd love to create a mulitplayer version. I've been working on my other games lately, but it doesn't mean I've forgotten this one, it's just that a fresh perspective helps, and my programming skills get so much better every time I start a new project. I'll be taking what I've learned from the others and applying it to GodSpace and vice versa. (Look to part 2 for the rest)

Haha, that's cool! And I like that idea, I think an arsenal of weapons is in order, including, but not limited to: lasers, plasma cannons, and seeking rockets. Not that God needs all those, but even God likes variety lol
***UPDATE: I had some extra time and scripts from other projects, so I added some more powers, and tweaked how to use them.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback! What about the controls do you find difficult? And I'm adding in a main menu at the moment. I was thinking of adding in the ability to start in an empty level, and set up your own system.
