I’m trying to fix the bug. Since I’m not an Adobe engineer and didn’t design the version of flash that makes my game crash. This isn’t very easy.

Thanks for all the love (and the hate too, I like that because I’m weird), comments, bug reports (my inbox cries, but it’s made bug tracking much easier), shouts, ect ect. I was expecting to tank hard on Kongregate, and it really is a pleasant surprise that I’m not :)
Inspired by Upgrade Complete, This game is a tribute to anyone who has ever sat there playing a game doing the same repeatable set of actions in order to get a arbitrary number to go up. It’s a game about exploration, amnesia and collecting. Every action is will give you experience; You can gain levels in just about everything you do, from Jumping to Taking Damage to standing still and doing nothing at all. The world is sandbox, you can go anywhere you like as long as you level up enough. There is a catch though. Every night a re-occurring nightmare will rob you of everything if you can’t survive it.
I have this love affair with Platformers and RPG’s and this was my shot and bringing them together in an exciting taste explosion, with a little design flair of my own, some excellent editing/writing from Kayn, spiffy cut scene art from Gigas and awesome music from Triplefox. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

By the way, for those that can't find the last six gems, stand at the bottom-right part of the triangle at the top of the tower next to the squarian village, dash to the right and double jump. You should reach a platform with the last gems. To get the last codex entry (not counted), talk to the brainy squarian three times.

Vote To Keep Alive plz: defeat the boss is very simple, the first part (before the lazers) is simple and you must only avoid his attacks, But when he/she starts to use lazers you must stay on a platform on one of the sides, jump to avoid his slash and fall on him and be stunned. he will try to hit you but he can't if you are stunned and the rocks will fall on him giving you the black gems :)

Hint on how to beat the nightmare: Double jump is pretty much necessary.... More hearts and hardy make it easier, but they aren't necessary. What you need to do is get good jump and run. Higher fortitude, relationship, and getting hardy will help, but as I said earlier, they aren't necessary. What I did was just double jump from one platform to the other back and forth. Avoid the lasers and his swords when he throws them.. Other than that, just try to lure him in so he gets hit with his own comets, then collect the black crystals after he gets hit. REGEN definitely helps, and is pretty much necessary. After you defeat the nightmare once, you keep all your skills, but you must defeat it again the next night. (Or just go to the computer the day after you defeat it and activate it to beat the game.. I'm pretty sure the computer requires you to get all 5 of the huge crystals.)
