Description
Sandbox Platform RPG Comedy - Run, jump, collect gems and talk to zany NPC's to level up!
How to Play
Inspired by Upgrade Complete, This game is a tribute to anyone who has ever sat there playing a game doing the same repeatable set of actions in order to get a arbitrary number to go up. It's a game about exploration, amnesia and collecting. Every action is will give you experience; You can gain levels in just about everything you do, from Jumping to Taking Damage to standing still and doing nothing at all. The world is sandbox, you can go anywhere you like as long as you level up enough. There is a catch though. Every night a re-occurring nightmare will rob you of everything if you can't survive it.
I have this love affair with Platformers and RPG's and this was my shot and bringing them together in an exciting taste explosion, with a little design flair of my own, some excellent editing/writing from Kayn, spiffy cut scene art from Gigas and awesome music from Triplefox. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Developer Updates
Iโm trying to fix the bug. Since Iโm not an Adobe engineer and didnโt design the version of flash that makes my game crash. This isnโt very easy.

Thanks for all the love (and the hate too, I like that because Iโm weird), comments, bug reports (my inbox cries, but itโs made bug tracking much easier), shouts, ect ect. I was expecting to tank hard on Kongregate, and it really is a pleasant surprise that Iโm not :)

When Titch finished Level up! he wanted to make a sequel.
He started making it until 2010,when he got a full time job as a flash developer
and didn't want to code home after work.
The sequel is called Gather up! and it has a prototype.

By the way, for those that can't find the last six gems, stand at the bottom-right part of the triangle at the top of the tower next to the squarian village, dash to the right and double jump. You should reach a platform with the last gems. To get the last codex entry (not counted), talk to the brainy squarian three times.

Wow I really liked the bonus (100% complete) game's fighting engine (I really missed not being able to kill enemies in the main game). I hope in the next game you become the boy and reuse that system in some way after some polish. Probably too much to hope for a sequel after 3 years, but really nice job. 5/5.
