Under rating threshold (show) I do think that the upgrades are both too few and too meager, though I understand the emphasis on thinking rather than brute force. Upgrades are an incentive, making a person eager to play more to get them.

Under rating threshold (show) For mission 4 just circle the base with some mini guns and add maybe 3-4 heavy weapons to cover each side. Start from the inside and work your way out. Probably wait to upgrade til all the slots are full, but not always.

Under rating threshold (show) The towers don't actually shoot at everything within their range. Their seems to be a need for mob aggro, which doesn't work in a tower defense game.
