Under rating threshold (show) The solution to the elevators is entirely stupid, but it works: Build a three-level elevator, then an ordinary room above it, then another three-level elevator above that. Then build a three-level elevator in an adjacent column so that it links the two. Your guests will zig-zag their way up and down, but because the elevators come almost instantly, they don't complain about waiting. Upvote this and lets get it onto the top five.

Under rating threshold (show) I just followed a guest from check in to his room. It took him 17 days to get from the desk to his room. And after check in he waited a WEEK to just get on the elevator, and it took two days to get to his floor! No wonder everyone demands more elevators, I would be pissed if I waited a week to get on it and then have a day day trip to my floor.

Under rating threshold (show) You know, once you get a five star hotel, there should be a stairs option. Unlimited capacity, no wait, goes right to your floor, also functions as a gym. Maybe they'd all stop whining about elevator waits.

Under rating threshold (show) needs upgrades: For exemple: you should be able to upgrade elevator to increase capacity and/or speed you should be able to upgrade your Restaurant, to add more tables (and thus increase capacity) You should be able to even upgrade staff (upgraded staff work faster) You should also be able to put staff on ONE floor, so they don't go around working on every floor (if you have the maximum floors, that's pretty hard, coz the maids suddenly notice dirt on the upper floors, they ALL go there, and there's no-one to keep the 5th floor tidy)

Under rating threshold (show) Great game. But instead of building yet another elevator I think i'd rather open all the windows on the top floors. "Express checkout". Its a win-win. Plus with the week waiting time to get on one it's an option they would explore...

Under rating threshold (show) After getting to 30 floors of nonsense and a 5 star rating, I fired all my employees, removed all my elevators, and destroyed every square of the hotel. The dozens of people who were stuck on various floors could only complain about the lack of reception and that there was nobody cleaning rooms. I urged them to jump, but it appears they would rather just stand there and hold their breath. What a bunch of whiners.

I put a bowling alley next to the open air cafe (no peaceful meals), the laundry rooms next to the beauty salon (smell clothes and perfume) , the movie theater and the disco (noisy movies) and a few low class rooms in between the presidential suites to make a few of those normal customers feel awkward

Under rating threshold (show) Great sim game, good calculations, even though everyone complains about the elevators, very realistic. Would be nice to be able to destroy and elevator without destroying the whole shaft, even if it cost money to start a new shaft on the above floor. Would also be nice to be able to fire staff without having to track them down and click on them. I hired too many engineers in the beginning and they were expensive. I noticed someone said upgrades, which I think is a good idea, but being able to assign more than one employee to improve efficiency would be great. Would be cool to be able to change wages and room price too. My 2 cents.

Under rating threshold (show) Fun, but completed relatively quickly. Also, there need to be a ore practical way to track your employees. How many you have, what they are doing atm, give them ponctual orders or a set of orders (assign to floor X, etc.). There should also be a more practical way to reorganise your hotel when you want to make room for some new stuff you unlocked. And you should have a refound when you destroy something. At least half the price...

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game but there are a couple of annoying things. The elevator situation. Serious... I have 8 elevator shafts and 1 staff elevator, it seems that unless my entire hotel is elevators, I can't please these guests. Next, I spend a fair amount of time waiting for money to come it. Please take away the pausing when I click out of the game, I wanted to use Excel to plan my hotel and couldn't. Lastly, how about some achievement or reasons to play after 5 stars? This game took less than 30 minutes to beat, I want some replayability...

Under rating threshold (show) Here is a helpful hint: don't build enough rooms to qualify for the next star until you have saved up quite a bit of money. Once you collect the next star, everyone expects you to have all the latest amenities and your popularity goes down if you don't. Then your rooms don't get full and you lose business and money while trying to buy the latest luxuries. If you wait to build the required number of rooms once you are sitting on a nice pile of dough, then when you level up you can get what everyone wants right away.

Under rating threshold (show) Five stars reached quickly. Expand asap and build a lot of elevators (more income if your building is wide. Waiting customers at the elevators=waste of money). Be sure to have triple money needed for the next level (build 19-39-59-89 rooms and wait, then build the one needed to reach next level) to build twice or more new parts (rating is always around 800). I had all the rooms on the left, one worker elevator (just for maids), 5 big elevators at the center, one worker elevator for engineers and laundries, pools, arcade etc on the right (if you mix rooms and other constructions, maids and engineers will slow down each other at the worker elevators). 25 floors, 50k income.

Under rating threshold (show) Elevator solution: DO NOT have elevators that extend the entire height of your tower. Each elevator shaft should be 8-10 floors high. My setup is to have 8-height shafts. I use the 4 floors in the center of the shaft for hotel rooms. The 2 floors at the top of each shaft and the two floors at the bottom get restaurants/entertainment/etc, and overlap with a different shaft. For example, floors 7&8 have the top of one shaft and the bottom of another. Also, you'll want to add a service elevator to extend the height of the tower so your maids don't spend all their time switching elevators (your customers don't care about switching elevators, just about waiting).
