The 'stop' power up is the most useful. Get the ball on the green as quickly as possible and use the 'stop' power up JUST BEFORE the ball gets to the hole. It doesn't stop the ball, but it takes all the speed off it, so that it rolls into the hole. I finally completed the 1st course in less than 350 secs.

I hate this game. And I hate that I hate this game, because I love your other games. This one... just doesn't feel right. It's grindy (and not even a fun grind) and sluggish. As people pointed out, "end now" makes things WORSE for you since the bots just finish right then and there.

The key is to save up like $5000 so you can replay levels with powerups until you get lucky. Start with a Power Swing power shot, then use Airboost to go farther or avoid water, then finish with a Super Stop. You're in good shape if you can get 1 or 2 hole-in-one's, worth around 15+5 seconds. I'm not sure which golfer is best, but I'd personally pick King, Cory, or Harry.

Hmmm, at first i thought there's something very wrong with hard badge requirements for course 1. But then i realised some holes can be done in one shot :) Would be much sooner, if only i was able to test power-ups in practice mode for free...

I found an easy way to grind for money. On the last round, all players have gotten their balls into the hole, pause and go back to the menu. The game has already given you your winnings for the tournament and for the hole itself but hasn't saved the hole finishing so you can keep replaying the hole instead of going through the entire tournament. If you're in first then it's a fairly quick and easy $1,000+.

The hard badge isn't skill based at all, need to keep refreshing to get the right wind, and using the stop powerup without aiming. Too much luck involved. Took me a whole day to get it, which is usually what I consider an Impossible badge.

I know it is an old game and not likely to be updated at all, but it sure would have been nice if they had programmed it to remember which golfer a player had last used, instead of reverting to the default every time. With a game with a "timed rounds" badge, it often means a lot of restarting with one bad bounce, and then extra clicks to pick the preferred character every time.

I thought that the hard badge was near impossible for a while. The bounces are just sometimes so unpredictable and little things can set you way off. Then I realized that if you go back to the menu mid hole, it lets you pick up at the hole you left off on, but it starts you at the beginning of the hole, so you can redo each hole in a course as many times as you want. Even so, it was still a pain in the butt to get the hard badge. I was using the airboost and super run on almost every drive and the super stop to get the ball in the hole.

AI players are cheating though. Or the end now button is broken. They get 2 hits after having hit twice and not finished. Back from 5* to 1* again.

Time-based golf with random events, and frustrating physics... what an unholy combination. Can't remember when i was screaming and cursing so much playing a game...

@Eppie_Spacely Umm you realise you need to ACTIVATE those powerups before you play a shot, right? They're temporary so they'll disappear once used. They're on the left of the screen. :D

On top of all the other complaints already posted... early on I bought 3 powerups, which don't seem to actually do anything. Seriously how can you call it a coin magnet when the ball is only 2 pixels away and doesn't attract coins?! Anyway, Now I unlocked the "double coins" but I can't replace the old powerups with the new one.

That "End Now" button at the end of every hole has finally won me over. I'm ending it now. I have two of three badges. That's all I'm going to bother getting. It was a ballache to get this far. I'm done.

The game took pity on me, the last bird I killed literally flew into my ball when it was at almost a dead stop on the ground.

Yeesh, I didn't figure out until I was nearly done with the first 9 holes that the yellow area was supershots. For some reason, the instructions on the different colors didn't show until I played 9 holes the second time (both of which were the first set.) Playing a game without instructions when they are supposed to show up is very annoying. Besides that though, the only issues with the game is that the competitors start off with gear much better than you, and as others have mentioned the small hills that cause your ball to completely stop are very annoying. Overall, I give the game 3/5 stars

For anyone still struggling with the easy badge, Hole 1 of Course 2 seems to have plenty of birds. Complete a round on that, exit on the second hole, and repeat until you got your ten.

I guess I'm the only one who was relieved to realize that it meant actual birds and not birdies. The badge isn't nearly difficult enough for all of the whining being done.
