Good idea but extremely unbalanced
)
Initially, we have tried to make PvP as balanced as we can. The result - it was insanely boring (yes, we are playing VeraTowers on daily basis). But now PvP matches are quick and intense like a fighting game :-) And it doesn't depends on how expensive your units or magic are (expensive units are much harder to by in a match), but extremly depends on their combinations and your archery skills.

Enemy def on every map is always increasing to the point where you can only damage and kill enemies with your bow, but soon so many unkillabe enemies spawn that you get overrun. Unless you buff your units' dmg with spells but that requires money, which you are not earning enough. So, you either get stuck or are forced to buy currency with real life money. Or am I missing something?
All locations CAN be completed with your initial warriors and tower. You don't even need any magic except "restoration" up to the ice people. Then you just need to buy basic magic described in the tutorial (some of the spells will be opened at level 12). That's all. I've tried to complete the game from the begining - it takes about five hours. Yes, I know good tactics against every opponent ;-) BUT if you want to be at the Top 100 for 30 days or even at the Hall of Fame (look at the High Scores -> Hall of Fame), you need much more scores, thus you need to try specific tactics with different combinations of units and towers. I know that some records were taken with hundreds of spell casts per game! So, in this case, yes, buying a pack of veracoins is a good idea, I think.
