Very good design. However, it's already known that humans are better at solving some problems than computers are, so I'd like it better if the data was actually used in some way (for example, look at PeekaBoom).
I think this is a great idea, but maybe with other demographic info (sex, age, &c.) it would be more fun. Also, to my fellow kongregators who complain about not knowing the movies: IMDB.
Ok, first off, I worked at a blockbuster for years and years so i'm qualified for the following comments. The movies that you have us rate have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PREVIOUSLY RATED MOVIES. The person rated a bunch of fantastic dramas and you want me to guess how they liked the best of Will Farrell from Saturday Night Live? SERIOUSLY!?!?! This is why when you use website based movie renting like netflix or blockbuster, you ALWAYS get some wacky ass movie recommended to you. Same crap goes for Amazon. Like how it "suggested" a FRICKIN TASER to me when I was looking for a computer monitor! WTH! This game blows for being associated with those idiotic algorithms. 1/5 Terry S
You also should make it so that people can't submit highscores unless they enter their name.
Good luck with your game! Hopefully the rating will go up as more reasonable people play it.
Good game, it's a nice time waster. I haven't even heard of most these movies--maybe make an option to select the movie genre? It wouldn't be a bad thing to make a multiplier. Every question you get right in a row raises your multiplier by .2 or something.

- yea it's fun and all but it's pretty easy since it's only the average of the ratings given.
