Physics? Please. What do you know about physics?
Seriously, give me one solid reason as to WHY the physics aren't good. If all you're saying is 'physics suck' and you don't give a reason, that's just like saying 'I'm the smartest person in the world' without any proof - simply ridiculous.
This simulates frictionless physics in an elastic environment perfectly. If you can't even tell me what part of this physics make it 'suck'... I'd worry less about why this game has such a high rating than worry about whether or not you actually have any sign of decent intelligence.
Forgive me if I have offended you in any way, but you probably won't look at this ever again. But still, seriously, think before commenting.
tl;dr: these physics do not suck, its you guys' interpretation of real 'physics' that suck.

it would be nice if you could turn off or on the sound because this would be a good game to listen to some music and chill out with

1. Retry button. I thought this was common sense. 2. As if you weren't already extremely difficult to control, black holes suck you in extremely quickly for an instant game over. 3. Why does the grappling thing that you shoot out move so horrendously slowly? 4. Getting smashed between balls can teleport you to the edge for an unavoidable loss of life. 1/5

i liked it, its really simple and nice, i found the balls really nice-looking and relaxing. I recommend it to people who want a challenge but nothing intense or too exciting. i give it a 3/5

Good game. Fresh concept and fun to play. Music and graphics are good. Some minor UI issues that have already been mentioned.

Ok, so nobody but kesse said to have liked that game. There's still a huge majority of users to don't like this game.

The physics just makes no sense at all, the game is pretty awful and the controls are awkward, I know the Hard Mode is supposed to be hard, but making it incredibly luck-based and ruining it's physics is not what I call a decent hard mode. Apart from Typing Ninja Hunter this is the worst game here, I had more fun playing a maze game because it wasn't luck-based and it didn't made me frustrated. I don't know what re4 was thinking when he chose this game for the tournament, I wouldn't mind if he restarted the round, there's no single person that said to have liked the game in the competition thread, just to show how bad this game actually is. I know it's over 3 avg, but that's because it seems nice at first glace but if you play it more you will see how terrible this is. If everybody rated this game fairly it wouldn't have more than 1.50 avg.

Not bad. Nice graphics n style, good physics. One problem was it's hard not to lose a life when collecting powerups. Maybe if the powerups bounced you off them like the big balls it'd be better. It'd be cool to add something else to it, like little gems that shower out from the balls when you hit them. The harder you hit them the more gems come out, then you collect the gems by swinging through them (but you can't latch onto them). And gems add to ur score, or summin.

Really cool concept - I love the graphics, and the menu and interface is nice and uncluttered. Very addicting! It's really hard to get powerups though, and the game is lacking depth. 4/5.

This game really does do a lot of things right. I played this game back in Jan 2008, and after playing it again now, I'm still impressed. This is easily up there with games like Sonny, Oroboros, and even Kongai in terms of merits. I still cringe at the word count in the instructions screen, especially comparing it to the rest of the game. Again though, I'll help out with that. I've gotten much better brevity these last few months, so it should be no problem. This is, again, a very impressive first game.

Excellent game, the concept seems original enough, very simple but addictive.
the music is suitable but could be improved ,cant wait for the sequel.

I just got that maybe there's a way of doing the second game Areas style.
maybe even some kind of a collab and as I said, Badges..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Okay, firstable the concept is awsome! There must be badges for this one and maybe more power ups which maybe more fun than helpful...
The only thing I have to say is that the physics are a bit clumsy and I'd love to see a sequel with better graphics and physics...

It's great to see all of the positive comments so far, thanks guys!
@thegamer: Cheers. The amount of lives a player begins with IS actually determined by the difficulty (Hard=3, Medium=4, Easy=5 lives)
@Shinbatsu: I think it makes more ence for the 'hook' to be the only part that grapples onto balls (not the rope aswell), but thanks for your input.
I do plan to make a sequal (not a mini-game, but same concept), but don't expect anything anytime soon. :)

I really like this game and the concept, it's really simple yet fun and hard too. I think it would make more sense spatially if, when you send your grapple out to a target and it's not on a target at that instant, but one comes into the grapple's path at the time when it's going out, it should latch on. Do you understand what I mean?
Right now it just doesn't make sense to me when it misses, even if there is a ball right there when the grapple should be catching onto it.
Also, I think you could expand on this game like others said - two grapple hooks for more craziness.
5/5

Impressive. It's difficult on my trackpad, but the concept is enjoyable. Like people have been saying, it could stand to be expanded, but 5/5 for originality and style.

For those who mentioned that the activated balls were to hard to distinguish from the un-activated balls, I've made activated balls glow much much more (the gradient glows), so I hope that helps... DONT FORGET TO VOTA & COMMENT! Cheers.

Just a quick note: Any ratings and comments you have to offer are more than welcome!
- Every comment will be thoroughly taken into consideration (good and bad opinions alike), as suggestions will either be incorporated into the current build or in a sequel.
-Ratings will definitely help me in the monthly/weekly competitions, but also increase the chances of the game getting badges/achievements soon (only if the rating remains good).
Be honest in your comments (I wont take offence at all), and thanks for playing!!!
-Viza.
P.S. Thanks Rool, I'll consider your suggestion. Goronhead and Rool, glad to hear you're enjoying the game!! :D

In my opinion I like the concept but I think it might be more entertaining if when you click on something you only get tugged in that direction instead of the rope pulling you in . I've played it quite a lot and to me thats whats missing.

Hey, thanks for replying back to me guys. :)
Thanks for the colour suggestion, JKhiLOL. I’ll experiment with maybe colouring the inside gradient of balls to make them a bit more appealing.
Szaloony, I’ll have to think about implementing 2 ropes. As I said, the engine could incorperate that easily, it’s just that I’m doubting the benfit it could provide (if anything I’d imagin it would make things harder) First of all, the mouse would become less useful to control the character, players may get confused (if the game isn’t confusing enough :P), and despite it maybe making the player control more stable, I can’t see it becoming useful in a game based on speed. I’ll definitely experiment with the idea, but unless you could justify your reasonings more than it likely wont be added. :)
Thanks guys, and don’t forget to vote!!!

You couldn't have heard about "ropejutsu". It my and my brother's own concept :) I think using two ropes would make game easier, not harder at all. I think the best concept for controlling two of them is the same solution as used in "Portal - the flash version". I would also love if the rope WAS affected by player's velocity, as you posted. I think this ideas will allow to make some really nice and complicated acrobatics. About color theme: what about white, ascetic one?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the honesty. :)
It seems like the general opinion is that it's a good concept, but is crying out to become something bigger. So much pressure on making a sequel now. :P

Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, it's definitely a new original concept...but unfortunately it's not exactly a fun one. It's nice and original, but it wears thin quickly. 3/5. Not bad.
