Very nice first game, congrats! I wish that it had keyboard controls, qweasdzxc can control all directions easier than clicking on something that moves every time you click it :p
More achievements would also be good (especially if unlocking achievements gave you additional holy water to use in endless mode?). Just some ideas to consider for updates/future games :p Art is also very good.. you should have tried to get the game sponsored, and should definitely consider it for future games.
Thanks! We have support for both the number pad and QWEASDZXC as control schemes; just click on the Controls menu option. You can also change the control scheme from the pause menu.
We'd love to have the game sponsored but figured it took some developer cred before Kong would back us. Oh well.

On level 10, if you kill a skeleton in front of the altar, all the skeletons it spawns die immediately. So you can just hang around and rack up as many kills as you want by walking in circles or whatnot. Kind of amusing!

This is pretty good! And you first game too!? Wow.
Good effects, good story, not-so-original game idea, but hey, it's a good game.
:)

so i click my dude like it says to active the teleport and i die and have to start over ... i would rather u make a good game then a lot of bad ones so i can enjoy it
We think you may have missed the instruction to press the monk button at the top of the screen, next to the bottle. As for making bad games, we don't have a lot of them - just the one. But it'll be a lot better if you read the instructions more carefully.

Endless is RNG even more, you have to teleport and hope for the best, also the game is still way to static and really dosnt change at all. having more monsters that act differently may help but as it is right now its or too easy or luck based.

Over-all a decent version of the old Robots game (I despise death "achievements", though). Also, while a one-a-level holy water use makes sense for the static story mode levels, it makes it very luck-based the further you get in the endless mode with a random level generation (even allowing accrual in endless mode one would still need more luck the further they get in, but the amount of luck needed is mitigated by their ability to conserve them). Cujos on adding a continue feature (I learned Java by hacking Ethan Koehler's Daleks! game, and added several different dalek types, concentration camps, and even the Supreme Dalek, but I didn't think to add a continue feature. Then my hard drive fried :( I've been meaning to re-do it in Flash, but my procrastination gene won't let me.)

I just looked at the Achievements. Changing vote from 4 to 5 stars because of the awesome use of Doctor Who references.

Its an interesting puzzle concept, but I agree with the above comments. The teleport makes it very easy. The holy water is almost unnecessary with how useful teleport is.
I do like how skeletons can't pass by each other. That's a nice touch.
Maybe there could be more creatures? Ghosts? Levels where teleport/holy water is restricted?
We have lots of ideas for a possible sequel, but in the end decided to limit the scope of this game. Since it's the first one we've created, our goal was to build a small game based on what we've learned from playing on Kong for several years. Thanks for the suggestions!
EDIT: We've added Hard Mode! 100 levels - no teleporting!

So let me get this straight..He's a MONK who decided to go into a skeleton filled cavern. Not unplausible, honestly. But to go in with nothing but holy water? Clearly this guy lacks the ability to think ahead. Now to the gameplay! No bugs that I noticed, although it is very easy. I have no idea what goozen's talking about (RNG? You don't get anything from the skellies dude.) But it does get boring very quickly considering your only options in the game are "Avoid the skeletons or blow them up with holy water." Try to add more to it, maybe upgrades in some form or another, maybe a new weapon/item. If you can give it more content it should do much better.
Since the stats don't show you as having beaten the game, we invite you to finish the Story Mode before calling the game easy :). Endless Mode is where the challenge is at.
We weighted teleporting to generally send you farther away, so there is at least some strategy involved in using it. That info has been added to the tutorial. You know, it sounds like you'd enjoy the Running Man achievement, which requires that you don't teleport at all. You should also give Endless Mode a shot if the game is too easy for you!
