Under rating threshold (show) the rise of the difficulty isn't linear to the time you have already survived. It's hardest when you almost have got enough money for your 3rd or 4th weapon (Famas or USAS 12 for me - I go USP -> G36 ( -> Famas if it gets too hard) -> USAS 12 -> FN SCAR -> all the other guns just for fun :D) It's very easy once you got the FN SCAR

Under rating threshold (show) Ignore what Hylander said! Go for the laser cannon, not the deagle! Laser cannon actually dose around 500 damg and hits EVERYTHING in its path! you'll get about 30-100k more per map! money will cease to mean anything for you.

Under rating threshold (show) I just want a zombie game that I can customize a base from scratch. Anyone know a game like that? And if possible, gather survivors. Usually I don't like extra/special zombies, like left 4 dead. I just don't like the specials. Just a whole lot more zombies.

Under rating threshold (show) I found the defence game was only really hard at the start while you're on tier 1/low tier 2 weapons. I went for S&W .357 -> CZ 97b -> HK21 -> FN SCAR -> GAU-8 -> Pancor Jackhammer. The game was only difficult when I was using the S&W .357 and the CZ 97b. Once I got the HK 21 and moved on to the SCAR the game became simple. I recommend not getting overkill until you get the HK 21 at least. The CZ 97b does insufficient damage for it to take effect. Some end-game content would have come in handy.
