If a samurai was captured by the enemy, or failed to follow Bushido (samurai code of honor), he would perform the seppuku, or "stomach cutting". This is what the ninja does, although I have no idea why.

I honestly cannot see how this game has such a small number of plays. It's a quiet parody of the whole let's-keep-climbing platformer genre. Swords that kill you instead of what you expect; knocking out lasses in need of help; fight a lich, Thor, Chuck Norris and Moses. What's not to love?

Freakin butterfly things everywhere, doing huge jumps with small platforms on one heart, dodging Thor as I rush for the heart that spawned... bullets flying everywhere... might not make it...

Randomly or procedurally generated games are the future of video gaming. Look up spelunky on youtube if you don't know what I mean. Games like Left 4 dead have some randomization, but not enough to keep it fresh, for having those one in a million moments where set pieces do amazing/hilarious/awesome when they collide.

Why is this game so underrated? I mean... there are responsive controls, excellent pixel artwork, great music and... I thought I was going to save the girl and suddenly she fell from the platform, THAT'S PERFECT! The only thing this game needs is Kongregate API and, of course, more plays. Instant fav and 5/5.

i was having a great run, jumping and punching and flying around; it all when down hill when i tried to punch chuck norris...... it didnt end well. 5/5

The name is completely unrelated, and it draws quite a lot of references from Tower of Greed... nonetheless, very enjoyable. I forgot what my high score was, heh.
