Description
Did someone say Bullet Hell game? Dodge thousands of colourful bullets through tons of levels and take down massive bosses!
My adaptation to the classic "Bullet Hell" genre, with upgrades and of course, tons of bullets.
For performance issues, there are a lot of detail changes available under OPTIONS on the level select screen.
Note
------
If just black screen, wait up because it's loading.
How to Play
Mouse: Move ship
Click: Use bomb
Z: (If upgraded) Use slow shield
X: (If upgraded) Use gold shield
P: Pause
Q: (When paused) Return to level select
ESC: Return to level select
M: Mute/ Unmute
SPACEBAR: Fire at boss
Right Click: Mute option

Just dodging bullets without having enemy ships to shoot at feels weird: where are the bullets coming from? Also, having the stream of coins dictate you where to be takes away the whole point of bullet hell: analyzing the patterns and figuring out how to dodge the bullet storm.

Good, but the theme-ing seems strange. I expect a fighter ship to shoot things.

My previous comment refers to other versions of the game, chiefly the newgrounds version..and yes, they do have a scoring advantage over every player on Kongregate(though they lack a leaderboard posting.)
You have a good idea bout the bullet-slowing shield and the bullet absorption, but the player lacks the ability to switch back and forth between them freely. If you modified this, you could have a scoring system kind of akin to ESPgaluda (but not really...), which would definitely be a good thing.
On the subject of the slow shield, players should be allowed to disable its ability to remove bullets. Less bullets=less coins upon conversion. The final upgrade to the slow shield can be seen as a permanent liability to a player's save, which is definitely not a good thing!
