Need some help for the endings?
Here are some hints:
Ending 1) Listen to MALOR.
Ending 2) Ignore MALOR's cry for help.
Ending 3) 2 but more killing.

ok, so you can find a mushroom and give it to the guy who wants it and whether you pick up the flower of youth or not gets you the same ending. Picking it up makes getting back up again easier though, as it gives you unlimited stamina.

Here's how to get the 3 endings:
1) Collect 10 gems (I think there are 11, but you can miss one) and go to MALOR at the altar where you fell.
2) Kill 10+ creatures, collect their souls, and climb to the top on the far west (left) side. Don't collect too many gems (I collected 3 and it didn't mess this ending up).
3) Don't kill any creatures, collect 15-20+ endurance fruit, and climb the far west/left side. Don't collect too many gems (3 is safe).

**SPOILERS AHEAD**
Getting the "good" ending:
So basically the deity that wants the gems is BAD. Do NOT collect the gems for him, simply collect the fruits of endurance and Jump+ for yourself. On the West side there is a creature that tells you "there is another way to go back up." For this, you have to acquire the Lightning Power way atop the high cliff in the East and kill 10 creatures to collect their souls. Afterwards return to the creature that told you about collecting the souls. He will then tell you to press Up and Z at the same time to get back up to where you started off. Once you're back up there make sure to jump and hold x so you can reach the far right ladder and climb it up to the chest that is on top. That chest then tells you about the deity and gives you a sword to defeat him with.
PS - I got the bad ending and am too lazy to go back through it all for the good one lol just a heads up for anyone that wants the good one on the first go-around

I love this game. The first time playing naturally I went for the gems. Then opening the box "by reaching this box you have proven your worthiness. By the way, here's a secret: there is an evil god, who can only be resurrected by collecting gems." - WELL DUH! That info should have been useful a bit earlier, don't you think? Also "our ancestors weren't able to kill it, but weaken it. Anyway, here's a sword that can kill it". I guess they never figured out how to use it. Still, great game, great atmosphere, great music, great story.

I love how you never actually die. You just spend like two seconds down with a gray screen and get back up again healthy as ever. Wonderful anti-frustration feature.

The third ending involves climbing the unclimbable, if anybody finds themselves feeling depressed about the bad endings.

Now this is a good Flash game. Not overly complicated. Not grindy. No microtransactions. Just a clean innocent little Flash game. Unlike many new Flash games which are just like addictive endlessly grindy unfun F2P mobile games. They also have a mobile version with possibly a bunch of ads since Kongregate doesn't support rewarded ads. Now you can play them on the go and constantly be interrupted! I can play this game whenever I want without worrying about wasting energy or opening timed loot boxes.

Man, I love this game so much. Anyone know what happened to Zillix? This was his best game, but they were all fantastic.

I played this as a new game when it came out, making sure to get every ending. I played it again tonight, 10 years later, and still enjoyed it just as much.
