to calarooni : When an enemy is damaged, the damage explosions turn nearby bullets into bonus item. and "changing bullet to bonus item effect" turn nearby bullets into bonus item too. You can see enemy shots the bonus items if you are lucky.

You guys whining about upgrades aren't aware, probably, that traditional shmups - good shmups - would fail with an upgrade system because you have a ship that is frustratingly underpowered and overpowered at turns, making some levels actually impossible and others too easy. I don't see how upgrades add to the experience.
Anyways, this game is ridiculous because you can eat all the bullets. Still fun.

I agree, upgrades just waste time, making you grind to get them. This game is missing one key feature: a pause button.

That's why I feel very familiar with this kind of game, since I noticed both the graphic style and hte bullet patterns almost similar to Parsec47, then I checked about the author's link (it's Kenta Cho!)....... I wonder if he will remake ChoRenSha in flash version?
