In the future, everything is chrome (in this case the low rez makes it appear grey :D) and all humans will be genetically enhanced to not be hurt whatsoever by millions of shards of glass.

Not many games deserve a 5/5. This does, for having an great soundtrack, famous simplicity of gameplay and still boasting fun and a challenge.
5/5 and fav'd - keep it up! :D

This guy should have entered in the Olympics. I mean he can run over a kilometre in under a minute! Nice music by the way.

And thus, our window has taken the revenge of his long lost brother in windowness which the runner broke to celebrate the first 100 meter mark on his run. Even though it took desperate measures and actions (like hiring some bloodthirsty intergalactic mercenary ninja robots with lazer beam eyes for help) all the windows of the world are once again liberated from the oppressive runner... The END...

*runs* ''Ok i can do this! 1000 distance yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!''
*Almost dies by a building* ''NOPE'' *Dies by a stupid window*

Update: I have been to the Canabalt website, and the game works no better there - even though you can use the mouse there to jump. Seems to be a Flash issue or a programming issue - at least it isn't just Kong.

Is there a way to turn the screen shake off? I don't have any medical conditions but this is nauseating. Also I keep getting killed by something I can't see because the screen is shaking so much. And my eyes hurt now. :(

*runs for what seems like 5,000 meters*
*looks towards upper-right hand corner to check if I have in fact run for 5,000 meters*
*discovers that yes, I am in fact getting very close to 5,000 meters*
*hits a wall while not looking directly at my guy*

I don't understand this: There are giant things in the back round and obliterated buildings, but you happen to run across a group of buildings that don't have half of them missing, AND no giant killer robots are within 8 miles of you're guy.

My FPS is jumping all over the place... I seem to be going from 60 to 0 in the course of a second. If I'm trying to jump at a low frame rate, it doesn't allow. It also seems that I can reset my frame rate, but only sometimes... someone besides me must be seeing this.

4/5; I would've given this game 5/5 if not for the fact that some jumps are literally impossible to execute, like when a warhead drop right at the middle of a small platform.

Not sure if I am the only one, but I am having major issues with the jump button. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't, and in a game where timing is important this is a pretty big issue.

I keep getting distracted by the giant robot machines in the background.
Not that I'm making excuses, of course... :P

To help avoid the windows, get used to jumping just enough to land on the next platform rather than using max height jumps. It make the windows a lot easier.

Is there like a hidden jump meter? Sometimes, well a lot actually it's unresponsive and won't allow me to jump, maybe when the buildings shake you can't jump or the smoke is nerve gas directly effecting my legs and my will to jump? Gonna spam click x and space bar maybe then 2k meters will be possible... :/ It's sad this game seems like it would be a lot of fun if it were more responsive.

this is the only guy that runs like 20 meters per second, and instead of slowing down after running for a long time, he speeds up!

So here is what seems like is going on. The hero was at work when mysterious alien machines fell out of the sky. They started attacking the city when the hero realized the building he was working in was working in caught fire and was collapsing. He also realizes that the only way to make it out of the city alive is by running out of it, hence the "daring escape." Now I realize that none of this matters and the game is probably more fun without any explanation, but I love a good story. Especially ones with alien robots falling out of the sky.
