Incidentally I may be out of practice now, but I played this game a lot in the past and I wasn't lying about hitting 10k at times (not that that's anything to brag about if you've seen the iPod high scores). Contrary to Aaants' comment, I find a *faster* speed works best for me. IMO it's easier to only watch the second half of the screen and control my jumps (most of them can be small and in a lot of cases you don't have to jump at all). This way I find myself more prepared for surprises like falling engines or windows with obstacles before them that will screw up your jump. If it's getting faster than you can handle, just let an obstacle hit you every now and then and you're good.

Bought this for my iPod Touch many years ago and had a great time with it. Out of practice though. >6k used to be a good run for me, and even 10k happened a couple of times when the stars aligned. Now I'm maxing out at ~3k. Still love how this game sucks you in though, and the lack of my finger tapping the screen makes it even more immersive along with the great visual and auditory attention to detail. :)

If I ever work in an office in a skyscraper, I hope I'm getting paid enough to pay for all the glass I break jumping out the window after every day.

chris,if you look in the backround as you`re running you can see spaceships, so the only logical conclusion is....ALIENShttp://images.google.com/search?site=&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=2542&bih=1277&q=aliens+meme&oq=ALIENS&gs_l=img.1.1.0l10.6795.9911.0.12140.6.6.0.0.0.0.212.692.3j2j1.6.0.msedr...0...1ac.1.64.img..0.6.691.DmHgdCz4W0U#imgrc=6vuLHExLa0pH5M%253A%3BRgw5xaQdCinQ_M%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fredalertpolitics.com%252

Five years and a half after the ease one, but I finally got that hard badge... and on my first run this time, no less.

I was running without touching any crates for a short distance or so and I jumped onto a long crumbling building that crumbles before I even made it past 2/5 of it. Lol even if my speed was double i would have just barely made it.

Judging by the size of the footsteps, his height and his running speed, I think he's not only faster than Usain Bolt; HE'S A FREAKIN GIANT

"there will never be a platform that is unreachable at your current speed" Proven wrong. I reached a window so low that I cant enter even by running without jumping at all, and the roof is so high that i cant jump on it. So.. well thats another con of going too slow.
