So here is what seems like is going on. The hero was at work when mysterious alien machines fell out of the sky. They started attacking the city when the hero realized the building he was working in was working in caught fire and was collapsing. He also realizes that the only way to make it out of the city alive is by running out of it, hence the "daring escape." Now I realize that none of this matters and the game is probably more fun without any explanation, but I love a good story. Especially ones with alien robots falling out of the sky.

The point when your running and that thing falls right out of the sky on top of you... Runner: Man that was a bad head ace.

Tip for those wanting the hard badge: Use the objects to slow yourself down! It's a lot easier when you're not running 100m/s.

The jumping problem might be caused by the character floating for some reason, and I'm now not sure if the screen is supposed to be violently shaking...

Almost half of the time, he doesn't jump when I click X or C, and I can't get past 600 M. Also, I think the creator intended for this to happen, but the screen shaking is really sore on my eyes. Good game tho.

Wait a minute, I just realised something. This guy should participate in the Olympics, he's running at speeds of over 50 m/s at times. Unless, you know, he's using, drugs, or something......

Incidentally I may be out of practice now, but I played this game a lot in the past and I wasn't lying about hitting 10k at times (not that that's anything to brag about if you've seen the iPod high scores). Contrary to Aaants' comment, I find a *faster* speed works best for me. IMO it's easier to only watch the second half of the screen and control my jumps (most of them can be small and in a lot of cases you don't have to jump at all). This way I find myself more prepared for surprises like falling engines or windows with obstacles before them that will screw up your jump. If it's getting faster than you can handle, just let an obstacle hit you every now and then and you're good.

Bought this for my iPod Touch many years ago and had a great time with it. Out of practice though. >6k used to be a good run for me, and even 10k happened a couple of times when the stars aligned. Now I'm maxing out at ~3k. Still love how this game sucks you in though, and the lack of my finger tapping the screen makes it even more immersive along with the great visual and auditory attention to detail. :)
