Should have a multiplayer mode, just like kongai... THIS would be something!!!! I think this platform is perfect for human challenge... cpu gets kinda boring after you learn...

best game i have played on kong in months. It gets really faggoty though when you are kicking its ass... after combos the computer speeds up its character so it makes it nearly impossible to hit the next 2 or 3 blocks.

although the button mashing gets boring quite quickly, the animations, the storyline, the characters etc. are all superb. Should be improved and implemented as a console game. 5/5

If this was made a console game with better graphics, animated story line it would make quite a hit. For now it's a good flash fighting game.

ill tell you what the games but some colour may be nice and the button mashing isnt very creative and come on make something that isnt like knsei sacred fist or tekken (ps2 game) its not origanal

The hyper combos really aren't the button mashing they're made out to be. more important than hitting it as fast as possible is picking a selection of attacks that your opponent won't be able to memorize, because if they do, theres nothing stopping them from blocking them all.

this game would be cool if it didn't have the really crappy characters who you couldn't tell if they are attacking up middle or down, for example the cleaning lady and the fat pool guy

My only qualms with this game are the button-mashing supers (I like Boneless's idea of blow-trading instead of button-mashing) and the fact that Onward is a little OP in multiplayer. Other than that, great story, innovative fighting style. 5/5

Yeah, this game would be awesome without the stupid "You are doing a super? I'll do a super! Then we can press A together!" thing. Could have been waaay cooler.

This is such a refreshing and exciting departure from traditional 2D fighting games (perfected by Street Fighter IV and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core), shoehorning it into the genre is a misnomer. 5/5

Awesome until "mash the button like an idiot to win a super duel". Lame. How about each player flashes a move and the other blocks and it goes back and forth faster and faster until somebody hits.

Awesome game and brilliantly designed. Sure, some of the fights get a little bet repetitive after a bit, but the devs did a such a brilliant job with the backstory and character design they deserve a bigger budget. Support this game!

I don't get how this game gets such good ratings. The controls don't work (half the time I hit the direction to block within the alloted timeframe it doesn't work) mand the controls are randomly shuffled.

Nice Bug: Press X after hyper combo. If the last attack of the combo hit, the x will perform an additonal med attack, that ALWAYS hits...

very nice game, good job. hypers are a little overpowered though...mostly because the computer doesn't really block them. But otherwise, a very awesome game. 5/5

OH my God! This game was perfect!
April 2009. The best beat em up in Kongregate since now, in my opinion.
Excellent music. Great story. It is big. Cool graphics. Cool scenario. Excellent gameplay. Story mode and 2 player mode. Battles are connected with the scenario. Superb old school 2D beat em up game! Easily got 5/5 from me!

On another note, i was gonna say that the game was TOO easy, then I noticed the dificulty setting so i upped it and lowered the slo-mo. Yeah not so easy anymore.

GREAT Game. Its Pretty Amazing, the amount of detail that went into it. Hope it gets a badge or 2 maybe for completion. One thing i have noticed, and even thought it doesnt lag for me, i noticed a lack of quality control probably not relevant however. 5/5
