this is 1 of the better turn based games, I'm surprised theirs no badges. Wish it would catch better with other players.

ok wtf? ive got 9 units attacking a fortress with a 250 hp douche sitting on it, and theyre only doing 13 damage per round, while he's doing 14 and up. just like the first game, WE NEED SOME KIND OF EXPLANATION OF WTF IS GOING ON!

It's intriguing how the comments are so controversial to each other... people all think different things about it-crap, amazing, boring, great.
Also, if you want to play the other 2 commanders just get the hell over to age of games and stop moaning. Sonny 2 is rated amazingly well, and the hydraulic attribute is only on armor games-and hardly anyone complains about that.

Does anybody understand what is 'ray+1 or +2' ?
Nice game, I've got a bug with restart - looses all last upgrades, use saves.

One problem with this game is when the AI spends over a minute just fortifying units on the other side of the map, it's things like this that are why this game isn't really badge material.

On their site, the original game has Elves reserved for Kongregate sooooooo. But still. 2 races being locked on second game here is a bit much.

Can't believe this amazing game isn't more popular around here. Several suggestions for potential patches / sequels:
-archery units need tweaking, they're not very useful as it is and are wasted on many maps because of the "clear shooting path" rule. Perhaps simply reduce effectiveness or range when shooting through obstacles
-weak/awful/critical attacks have a huge impact on the battles, especially later on, with powerful high-level units. I don't mind a degree of randomness, but this mechanic should be maybe changed to -33%/+33% and no "misses"
-as some people already pointed out, a "next unit" button would be great
-centering screen on enemy units taking action during enemy turns would also be extremely helpful, especially on larger maps
-hotkey for orienting units

Ah I remember the first one of these. Needs badges, needs exposure. Too good a game to have so ignored. I didn't even know it existed :(
You have Healing Units like the " Human Priests" or the "Orcs Shamans" in Fantasy Kommander-Eukarion Wars: http://www.slitherine.com/games/fantaskommew

Well if the dmg system worked it might have been a good game, but after spending way to much time and effort to complete the third round doing only 1 dmg at any given time I gave up and then there is the the funny part.. Weak attack 1 dmg. critical attack 1 dmg. specialcrit attack 1 dmg.

I can't believe only 80,000 plays on this game. This is a creative, brilliant strategy game that deserves badges and a solid player base. What it needs is some exposure. Lets get the word out and bump that rating.

In the last battle I killed all the forces. Took the altar and surrounded Ledalin yet the time ran out. WTF the altar was destroyed and Ledalin's forces are dead. How could I have lost.

Here's a tip for everyone you can revive troops no mater what just make sure it's once you're done spending your money. You'll still spend money, it puts you in debt.

For those having trouble with attacking the general on lvl 3 the trick is to lower the Gen's defense as much as possible before the catapult attacks. When your four archers are clear move them over and always have them attack first to lower the Gen's defense. Bringing in extra units to attack will lower defense further. ALWAYS have cat attack last. The 4 archers should give cat attack of 9. An additional attack should give it an attack of 13! All the other fortresses can be captured by having them attack you instead. The castles defence is nullified if they attack you.

Enjoying the game. How about a 'next unit' button and/or a 'you have unused units' reminder?
For folks hating the seiges here's a suggestion - let the enemy general in his castle defeat your unit. So far, this has caused him to advance out of his castle and into my (dead) units' square. Call it a cheat, call it agressive Orcs, I'm calling it a day. 5/5

Just like the first game, I want to defend this one, but I'm having a hard time. The main complaint about the first game was crazy critical crap, but that wasn't too bad, because the computer got boned by the RNG just as often as I did. In this game, the crazycrits are still present AND time limits matter a whole lot more. I can't defend that at all. I wouldn't have a problem with super tough castles (they are castles, after all) if it MATTERED. Usually, my main threat is the clock. The map is cleared, secondary objectives completed, I've got fifteen turns left--oh wait! I lose, because the enemy general is on a castle. He has no backup, no reinforcements are coming, there's no *reason* for his fortress to be impenetrable, other than arbitrarily ending the game, thanks to the turn limit.

I loved the first Fantasy Kommander, and I think that this one is a vast improvement on the first. The larger armies that you are able to amass make the game a lot more interesting and make it so that losing a single unit isn't as devastating as it was in the first one.
As for the limited turns and the time it takes to knock out cities, these are things that you need to plan ahead on at the beginning of the level. You can't just randomly start killing people, you have to make very careful strategic decisions if you want to reach all of the objectives.

sieges take too long with too realistic defenses that conquering a castle, fortress or building takes about ten turns. sigh. very nice graphics for a flash game. Perhaps you could tweak the all too powerful defense and all too little attack. So yeah, the third level is way too frustrating as yes, the sieges take too long. aside from the gameplay, everything else i think is 5 over 5. the graphics, stuff.

This game takes way to long for the enemy to move. On the forth level I would go and watch a movie, coming back every five minutes to see if it was my turn yet
