If these tips work for you, please vote up
1) One anti-air is all you need to fend off air attacks. Don't buy more. 2) Invest early in your factories. The 'factories produce more' is nice, cheap and efficient 3) Go for technology to help your lasers and cannons without upgrading at first. It only costs 100 to give more punch. 4) After you have done this go for one upgrade technologies for your lasers and cannons. 5) Then go for the your factory upgrade. 6) Try to keep the minimum cannon/laser to keep the asteroids and speial attacks off of you 7) Use everything else for gravity well. 8) When using gravity well, don't just throw one or two attacks at an enemy. Throw 6, 8 or more to bloody him up and keep him down. It isn't hard to knock an enemy out of the game. 9) Always rough up the guy who's planet you are going after or who is going after one of your planets... the more planets you have, the higher your income.

I like the game but there should be something that shows that the turret or structure is upgraded, like a speed turret can be smaller or when a mine is upgraded it should be bigger with more attachments on it then before.

The lazers are extremely helpful for taking out the snow asteroids and one anti air tower is enough to fend off attackers

Alot of fun thanks more in depth custom/upgrade system could be cool but main point fun, I'll take an hour or so of fun over anythin except more hours of fun lol :)

If you kill both of your opponents the round will end early.
Try your best to get them down to 1 -2 buildings, but do not finish them off.
I do not know if this is a bug or if it is intentional.

I beat the first campaign, but I go back and it says I didn't. annoying :( That and the ability to abandon a battle and "win" makes this a 3/5.

Strats: Increase your tower cost, then increase cannon power, then factory production…at the start of the round, build 3 or 4 facts around a crystal, then fill a row of your field with cannons, the round should start soon, pop in a couple of the gravity wells, possibly 3 or 4, fill a second row worth of cannons. Fill rest of the place with gravity wells. Once your field is set, pick an opponent (if two or more are around), and launch everything over and over. if there's multiple opponents, throw two waves of everything at them, then pick on the other person a few times. Watch the info screen thing to see who's got the most asteroids, and pick on that person if it's not you. The more bad stuff you throw the less the regular asteroids that count will get to them, all the extra stuff will destroy their fields. If you kill off all the fields on your enemies, the round will end early. Tower upgrades: Factory > Frag cannon > speed cannon. Tech: tower cost > cannon power > factory output.

if you start out put a bunch of cannons out, and wait until your red bar is the best which takes about 2 seconds, then abandon game and its like you win, because you get to move to different planets after

I found the starting money upgrade to be the best thing to get after a couple production boosts and the refinery upgrade. That jump start on your base (I always used it to max money production before the level even starts) lets you start pumping out asteroid attacks almost immediately.

Having a few maps only available on your sponser site is only an itty bitty disappointment; the tower type being sitelocked much more so. Especially since you can still buy the tech upgrade for pirate ships. ---- Hotkeys for sending attacks would be great, as that's the most repetitive clickwork in the game. Even an option to one-click send instead of select-and-click-button would be cool. ---- Not being able to save campaing progress is a major turn-off. I really don't know if I'd ever feel like / have time for playing that many times in a row.

Onca, you use the 3 attacks they generate on the enemy directly by selecting the attack type and pressing the button on the right side of your screen, you select which enemy to hit by selecting the name of that enemy in the upper right hand corner.

Bug: sometimes you can build a whole base of AA towers but they all miss the enemy ships, always going slightly to the left (with every shot, not as a random miss), so you cant win :/

Also, though, +5 developer cool points for putting full documention in the program itself, instead of vastly incomplete documentation and/or only having a redirect to a html (or, ffs, video) guide.

needs a multiplayer like in campain and u face other player u make game roooms then instead of faceing ai oppents u face real ppl and then u can send waves like u do with the ai then when u have to upgrades your stuff u only have 1 minuteto upgrade and choose your planet to go to and if u dont select one then it is a ramdom battle or u dont fight and lose a turn

All that time I spent doing the first campaign and when it said I won I went to play the next campaign but I hovered my mouse over the first campaign I just did and it said: Never defeated but I just completed it all that hard work :( Fix this bug please it said on the updates that completed campaigns now save but you didn't do that.

Can someone please explain how the gravity wells are supposed to work? I place a heap of them to use against the enemy, and they don't do sh*t.

my strategy was to upgrade my refineries first, then my lasers up full. In game i would rush my factories and build a laser or two, making sure to get a gravity well in there. from there it was a balancing act between upgrading and placing more lasers and destroying my opponents with the 3 available attacks. Its a good game, but since this strategy is pretty much fail-proof, it was too easy.

basic stragety: Build as much cannons as possible and a refinery. Then upgrade them into the top, one by one. That way, you'll always win. Don't get anything else, besides the air ships. Also, don't forget about the upgrades!
