@amidos2006 please forgive for the spam comments, there's no way to edit them, but my point still stands, this game is impossible.

Sorry, I meant the 3rd boss. You can't reach him w/o losing half your health, regular enemy's do way too much damage, and save points need to be closer to the bosses

An overall good game. Love the graphics, the story and the enemies are very creative. However: #1_WASD JKL controls are absent. #2_These popups are tedious and completely useless (you can clearly see what each item does to you). #3_Clumsy hitboxes, especially on these squares scattered *everywhere* in the cave. #4_Although the graphics are original and well made, this Impact meme font really throws me off the athmosphere (I know this is a minor detail, but god damn, there are *way* too many games on this site that forget about it). #5_The mines are a pain in the ass to fight with. #6_The three-eyed frog boss battle is just plain annoying. You just keep bouncing around because, idk, the "power"? keeps you from crouching and shooting the earthworms right in front of you. And the hitboxes and the mines, like I said earlier, don't make it easier. 3/5

The lack of a final boss fight was pretty massively dissapointing. It made it so that there was no real reason to even want to collect those items. Also, the items having a popup that stays for so long and can't be closed prematurely is pretty annoying, especially when you literally need to collect everything to finish the game.

Oh sweet, literally nowhere to go but a frog boss who takes zero damage from any of my weapons. I have swept the entire rest of the map. I was having a good time up to this point, shame.

SPOILER: If you do not collect all the upgrades, you will get the bad ending.
To get the good ending, collect everything!

Great game! I thought the difficulty was on point. Took me a few time to beat some bosses but it was fun and loved the ending!

This game is way too hard. There's no way to heal, which makes it incredibly hard to get anywhere. The second boss is definitely too difficult. Perhaps you could get rid of either those moving enemies or the geysers? Also, I can't lay mines because sometimes the boss appears on the other side. With the geysers and enemies in front of me, I can't escape, and always die. Please make this game a tad less intense.

These are some of the slipperiest controls ever, making it impossible to retain any kind of health. The save points are SOOOOO far apart, too. So by the time I get to the boss that I need to defeat, I have less than half of my life left. Then I'm defeated almost immediately and then have to go alllllll the way back to the last save point. Too bad. It was sort of fun.

While I love the style of this game - it's impossible (for me) to beat. I manage to get to the big rock shooter and that's all she wrote - I've tried this too many times to count. Frustrating! Mind, I'm not blaming you, just my own lack of reflexes.

If there's one thing that makes this game great, it's backtracking. Backtracking is essential if you're making a metroidvania!

"Are you up for an adventure to uncover the mystery behind The Power?" I guess not...can't figure much out...how to get to sections without dying of cold...

Would have given this four stars instead of two, but for one fatal flaw. There's one screen, just where you get into into the ice area. There are several platforms, which require tricky jumps. Unfortunately there's an indestructible flying thing which knocks me off these platforms. That might okay if it was only to get some booster tank, or a bit of sequence breaking, but it's not optional. After trying several times to make one of the jumps (the one where you bang into the block above and fall off if you don't get the jump _just_ right) I assumed that I'd gone the wrong way, and went to the other end of planet, to find that's a dead end. Maybe other players have no problems with this section, but it's enough to make me rage quit. I must admit I had a lot of fun right up until that section though.

Two more (minor) things: After giving the game focus on the loading screen, it loses focus transitioning to the game menu screen. You should explicitly set the focus to the game when passing from the preloader to the game itself. Also, if you come back to the game after having played and left, the loading message constantly says 0% and quickly alternates back and forth between that and the "ready to play" message (it still starts properly, though).

@xthesaintx78: ***SPOILERS*** Fire the hook up into its eyes (it only affects him when he has a certain facial expression)

*** SPOILERS FOR THOSE WANTING TO FIGURE THINGS OUT THEMSELVES - these are only a few things I found disconcerting at the beginning, so don't expect too much ***
Mines destroy the white x-shaped blocks, and are the only thing that will hurt the yellow boss that vomits the large-calibre bullets (at the time, anyway -- easiest way to defeat him is to stand in one of the corners he comes out of and keep dropping mines while he's there). The yellow boss will give you a suit upgrade to get into the cold area. Missiles will destroy the white empty squares. Don't worry when you exhaust your missiles; they will replenish when you save (as will your health).

Nice game overall. Beginning text needs proofread and edit. Kind of sad that it is more or less linear (I can technically travel to some areas before I need to, but it is generally the get A to get to B to get to C... Not a huge complaint, but it would have been better to have it a bit more open, in my opinion).

awesome graphics and gameplay has a nice feel to it. I would make your font larger though, I can barely read it when I get new items (such as mines).
