Cookie-cutter attack and death animations, seemingly unlimited upgrades, and when you don't tell the player how much anything has, indications of "+70" damage or "heal 1000 life" are essentially meaningless. Also, how can archers shoot arrows on level for an infinite range?

First, why is the samurai 3 feet shorter than everyone else. Second you need borders on the fight maps. Third put a radar in so you know where the random guards are.

I also feel that the weapons do far to little damage. The Katana is capable of cutting a man in half and none of the characters i've come across so far are wearing any armor

I find it odd that lowly guards would try to kill a Samurai on sight. Samurai were an elite class in Japan. It would be assumed that any Samurai was still loyal to the Shogun.

boring when need to find where they are. a map would be nice. or just make them come to you...... that adds some challenge as well. 1 stone, 2 birds

Beat the game. It's wonderful at first but gets REALLY repetitive after level 3 rounds or so. It's basically the same thing over and over except with different bosses at each boss level. Overall gets a 6/10.

The story is nice, but there's a hell of a lot of text for not much of a story. Cut down on the text. Make the same point with fewer words, or no one will read it.

couple of problems that would make the game more enjoyable: turn sound-music on/off button and the arrows that fly exactly at the horizon line making them incredibly hard to spot.

I think it is a decent game, but there has been quite a few in this genre that is better. This game is too easy. The end boss just needed a couple of hits without using the special attack, because I bought the special item.

Wow Tartan you're retarded.
That said not a terrible game needs combat variety and some RPG elements to make people want to keep playing. Also all the action could be sped up to make the combat more dynamic. The art style is kind of boring too, try darken the color pallet.
Right now this a mediocre Achilles clone.

boring repetitive button masher..needs many fixes...for instance it could use light and heavy attack so there could be combos 3/5..
