Description
You control a futuristic space tank on a far off, desolate world ravaged by mysterious meteors. Blast the meteors and save the world! The whole game is only about 20-25 minutes in length so everybody can experience the whole story. But I will warn you, it's fast-paced and very unforgiving.
How to Play
MOVEMENT = LEFT/RIGHT ARROWS or WASD
SHOOT = SPACEBAR
PAUSE = ENTER, ESC or P
CONFIRM = ENTER

Nice little game. Since there ise no ammo limit, maybe implement autofire... Random weapons was a bit annoying, but it wasn't too hard to avoid "wrong" drops, so I guess it's ok.
I have the ammo feature built now, I just need to make power-ups that drop once you've gotten a weapon into refills for it, then the whole issue will be resolved. Hopefully. Thanks for the feedback!

Pretty fun game. To suggestions, the power ups feel overpower with them being unlimited and if you take one hit in the later levels your doomed because the standard gun is not up to the challenge. I would suggest more frequent drops and limited usage (timed, ammo, end of stage, etc...) of each weapon upgrade.
That's a really good idea, it solves some of the balancing issues I've been having. Thanks! I have some room on the GUI and I was thinking of ammo for a while now... just wasn't sure.

I am surprised at last boss.
I'm glad, I wanted the end to be a little different. It makes me happy that something unexpected happened for you.

This is a beautiful game with addictive mechanics and a lovable art style but it has a some dire flaws. Firstly, the beginning is much too difficult for people to easily pick up the game. Also, losing a life a max life when losing a round isn't a good mechanic. It means people will have to restart if they lose too many max lives. If that happens at a later stage, they won't play the game again.
What would you suggest as a fix?
