We've launched a new set of cards (Descent into Darkness) and added a live play PvP ladder system to the Arena, with prizes. Play 20 live PVP battles in the arena and you're guaranteed a prize at the end of the season.

I've been looking for a card game, and this has had me hooked for a few days so far and probably will be a lot longer. I immediately loved the art style and that really drew me in. It honestly reminds me of Blizzard style art. I also love the simplicity of the game, yet while being simple and easy to learn, it is very hard to master and has a lot of strategy elements. And it appears to be not very much be pay to win at all... seeing as how you can get almost every card in the game without paying at all. Plus, you can earn gems for free. ONLY problem is it seems there isn't TONS of players. I think the game will grow though. Overall, definitely 5/5

You should/could add a team multiplayer mode, 3v3, where each player takes care of only "one" card slot... I'm a bit bored of playing alone, cause I'm still a beginner I cannot match most of my opponents in pvp, I lack the cards, but team-campaign would be nice... Assuming such a thing is even possible x)

We start with Amorya, in at most half an hour we get Wilrius and Petrice in the campaign, and at worst and slowest we still only take about an hour and a half to get the remaining Amarus, Crutomist and Olfaan. Only Alisten the last campaign hero has a bigger number of quests with relatively descent enemies required to beat before you reach her. So why exactly are all the free easy to get campaign heroes rotated on the hero rotation instead of using those spots for the buyable, hard to get and unrefundable heroes at 70k or 90k gold?

I enjoy Mytheria and other single player CCG games of that sort, The problem to me at least, is that when you move any game to MMO is that when the game gets to be more than about a year old new content has to be added, which is awesome, but the new content has to be beter than the content that came before it, also ok, but then all content after it has to top what came before until you end up with starters immediately getting cards that wreck the starter campaign without effort, taking away any kind of challenge and breaking the game for me. Making all the original and interesting starter cards total trash. This CCG doesn't seem to have gotten to that point yet... But I fear it looks like it wants too. Please don't do that. Please keep all the add-on packs to the later and late game campaign wise.

I think this game is great and it would help a lot if there was a more active decksharing forum or website to discuss strategies. Don't be afraid to share, it brings all battles to a higher level, which in my opinion is only more fun!

Really enjoying the game. However, having to beat three or four enemies, especially when it's just the same enemy over and over again, to complete each node on the map is very tedious and doesn't make me want to finish the game. Since there are so many nodes, it would be best just to have one battle per node.
Fair comment. We're looking at improving the variety of enemies that you face, but reducing the number of battles per node is definitely something that could be done as well.

Because getting a specific card you want (as opposed to a bunch of random cards) is always more expensive in any CCG.
Just like in a real life card game: If you want one specific card you'll have to buy it from ebay or something, which makes it cost a lot more than a single booster pack would ever cost.

I HIGHLY recommend spending time playing this game. It has a good and helpful community, and is not as mus Pay to win as other Card games.

I think this is the first time I gave a F2P game 5 stars. But the truth is you earned them. Totally. There's pretty much always something to do, there's a way to earn gems in-game (and not too quickly for them to be worthless) and as fan of MtG I find this game highly addictive. Great job!

Why can't I just sell cards for gold? I would be very happy to receive 1000 gold for a useless card that costs 9999 gold at the "singles" section. Every time I try to scrap them I receive this message: "Failure, better luck next time"...

I wonder if doing something with ads might be a good idea. For example adding an opt-in that shows ads on the end of battle screen, and offering some fraction of a gem for each ad viewed.

this is a very good and fleshed out ccg.
HOWEVER!!
MANY things need to be presented clearer.
For example, when Tiny Titan is flying and attacks, I noticed that his splash damage does not get applied to any creatures..this should be explained before hand.
Also, when I force an enemies card to move, it does not stop them from attacking when it is the enemies turn.
It should also be clearer what kind of damage each card does so that the resistances can be used better.
These are all throughout the game and when you think you’ve made a sweet move and these get in the way constantly…it’s quite frustrating.

As someone who has bought about 3000 gems in the past. I'm against VIP systems, and refuse to buy another gem while there is one. One of the greatest things about CCG was that someone could get a significantly fair (compared to almost every other multiplayer game) deck by being a loyal player, even when short on cash, if they kept to working. Having new cards cost more and having gem costs on valuable things is alright, in that gems can be slowly earned over time, but having a reward that is ONLY for those who pay beyond the 2 novelty cards that existed before is a slippery slope to something this game has done an amazing job avoiding for so long...

I wish the VIP cards can be obtained through rigorous F2P methods.... or at least tone down the amount of gems required to level up. 7500 gems... to unlock Untouchable, just something I can not afford.

@Froger66 They had hero upgrades, but in an update, I'm tempted to say 0.9.0 or 0.9.1, they got rid of that. Before, there were hero "tiers", with some heroes significantly better than others, and arenas that only allowed certain tiers. Now, all heroes are the same tier, and you can not upgrade your hero. It existed, but they decided it didn't make the game better, and removed it.
