what sucks is that if you run out of money, you cant buy upgrades, so you will be defeated by the computers that are getting continually better...

this needs a better leveling system and a more clear output on what is going on. all i know to do is run up to enemies and kill them after about 10 matches the league is over yet there is nothing telling you that

I think I'm playing a different game than everyone else who seems to be singing it's praises.
In the game I'm playing the enemies hit easily 2 times as often as I do, even though my accuracy is higher.

Irasfel, you're the moron. The developper is kindly pointing out that there might be a glitch on Firefox so that people will know what to do if something goes wrong with the game, and you're bashing him for that. You ever made something with Flash? It's not as powerful as C or anything else. You can't always find what part of your code should be updated.
And Firefox having 90% of the market share doesn't make it the must have. You can always switch to IE if you have Windows or install Google Chrome just for this game. By the way, if two browsers have 90% of the market share that means the market share goes to 180%...

Stop taking game design tips from Sirlin. Misses are a sloppy, lazy way to balance things. Graphics need work, menus need an update, but this game has potential.

eeuh? 90% of the time you/they miss... 9% of the time you/they hit 1 or something... 1% of the time you/they hit 40+?! 1/5

Interesting. Lots of diversity in characters, quick and painless battle system. It does need some more gameplay elements to keep it from becoming repetetive, such as random encounters, a storyline to follow, etc. The 1000 gold bug is indeed present and makes the game quite a bit harder. Nonetheless, 3/5

The game has a decent difficulty, although I have to admit that at first some things seemed unfair. In the end, you still win due to numbers or sheer tactical advantage. However, I would've liked a more visible combat system which applies default melee>arrow>mage theories. Because as it stands, arrows do better than mages because of their hit %s. An item market for heroes and coloring of heroes that are exceptional would also be nice. This said, nice game.

Maybe I just have rotten luck, but i seem to be able to barely win matches...I miss constantly and get slaughtered. Therefore I cannot gain any money to get better equipment, my guys won't level up and it just goes further downhill. I enjoy the game, but that just makes it irritating to play.

Well, I'm done with this game. Winning is damn near impossible. I have one person set up as a fighter, a ranger, and a healer, and I can't do near enough damage to kill 1, let alone 3 people. Damage is completely random. Miss 60% of the time, hit for 1 39%, and a 1% to hit for more than 1. Spells hit maybe 30% of the time, regardless of the persons hit % and the spells hit %.

Seems the people you fight ramp up in equipment at least as good as yours no matter the division. Just defeats the purpose of improving really.

um i will give it a 3/5 because all i see is miss miss miss miss boom -27 the game is kind of easy when you get yourself a strategy which doesnt work good when i buy a spell it says 80% chance and i see 99% FAIL

As said...get two blockers...than Ranged...buy him a good ranged weapon...get Magic...add spells Missile and heal...than..uh..i got myself a second magic. Buy the third in season 2...the last in 3 or league. While having enough Gold...improve weapons and armors. No need for improving spells. Get two golems asap...and look that they have a good hit chance 57+. Than upgrade your ranged. Than....go for it Tiger!^^

Not so much original, yet well developed. You have to fix this in order to have it working on Firefox. Also, the menus are horrible and feel too much "default": re-design them with a fantasy theme, it would be much better. Also, after some plays it seems that everything needs to be balanced a bit. Why release a rushed game while with a bit more work you could craft a fine one? Go back to work on it.

Rely good i liked to play, but it get a bit tricky to the and and i would like a expirience bar but at all a game i would like to see more from 4/5

Great game, but afew things I don't like. Sometimes it seems your enemies are far more geared than you are, even if they have more people as well, and also I don't like when my team starts right next to the enemies, and my mage is the closest one to them :/ the one person who really has no natural defenses.

Ah well...forget my first post:
Game is greater than ever...but you have to fire your first roosters asap. Golems rule by that, when they can hit anything. at second: Bring a good ranged one . Than...magix..spectre. Than...oh lord...have to play!^^

incredibly unfair, in 3rd division a guy had a cutlass(worth about 2900 gp) and killed my guys in a single hit (about 44)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the hit and miss system doesnt see it as a ratio or percentage it sees it as a fraction from 100 so if you got 90% melee you will prolly miss 10 hits out of 100 so its alittle more understandable.
