Under rating threshold (show) Spoiler - Getting your warp drive up to the max requires 120%, meaning you must beat all bosses, and the boss rush, with your warp drive equipped. The reward - Your warp drive sells for over 20 million RP. Oh, and it also gives you unlimited focus forever, as long as it's in a ship mod. I'd recommend you beat boss rush first with actual ship mods first...you'll see why. That last empty slot in RP shop is a beast.

Under rating threshold (show) The first half of the game is really amazing, new weapon new ship, new modification. But I found that during the second half the ne weapon are not really effective. I don't feel like my ship evolve while my enemy do. I found that it would have been more fun if you get all the power up. Nice game. Keep the good work .

Under rating threshold (show) The last part of the Atropos boss fight is overly difficult. Learning the patterns takes FOREVER, since you have to go through the first phase each time, which can take three minutes a shot, only to die as soon as you get past it because you made a mistake. Suggestion: reduce his health somewhat, so that the phases don't take so long. Also, maybe slow down the sword+whip spin attack he does by a small amount.

Under rating threshold (show) ***Boss Number 5 part 2: *Snowflakes/Flowers: wait until the flakes start moving, get in lane #2, use focus to get in there, the space between the 2nd and the 3rd row of flakes. Once you get in there just follow the path opened when the flakes move, you'll never get hit. *Lasers: remain on the left side of the screen, get between the gaps of the lasers, use focus if needed. *Big bubbles: stay at the bottom, get between the gaps, use lots of focus when the bubbles are near. Sometimes there are vacant spaces where there are few bullets, get there, it can save you some focus. Don't move too much. *Deadly immobilize move: deadly, just stay still, when the bullets have passed, move quickly, use focus for precision, slip in the super thin space between the bullets and stay still, rinse and repeat. Don't panic, stay calm. If you don't use antimatter or auto bomb, you're probably screwed if you don't move fast enough or too slow. *Zigzag: pretty easy, nothing special.

Under rating threshold (show) Solid game all around, Hyperion felt challenging but beatable, and all of the levels and bosses felt balanced until I got to atropos, and he's ridiculous. Even with slow-mo I can't dodge a lot of his attacks because he sends them in a wall. I haven't developed any games, but there's a quote I think applies here: "If, as a developer, you feel your game is just challenging enough, it's way too hard." After around 20 attempts on him, with only twice removing all his armor, I'm giving up, but the game still gets a 4/5.

Under rating threshold (show) This game could be great, but the absurd difficulty ruins it. For those who are just going for the badges, sell that useless warp core. The only way to get any use out of it is to beat the entire game, then beat the boss rush, which has even more annoying versions of all the bosses, one right after another. If you can somehow beat that, you get the best ship in the game and the unlimited focus warp core. What is the use of giving out the best items AFTER BEATING THE ENTIRE GAME??? For now I am giving this game a 3/5, but with some improvement, it could be a great game.

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game overall. However, making it so that charging the warp core to 100% does absolutely nothing was just a dick move IMO. There's no reason whatsoever that 100% couldn't have given at least some sort of perk, instead of just "nope 100% does nothing, have fun with this challenge that's much more difficult than the rest of the game put together".

Under rating threshold (show) As others have said, the last boss is just bloody well frustrating. Fighting it for 5+ minutes for it to flood the screen with death isn't really fun. And just a general gripe - why is it that bosses get stronger as you damage them? Can't one boss, in one game, get weaker as you blow its parts off?

Under rating threshold (show) Theres 2 patterns that kills you on bossrun. 1 of hyperion (homing+spam) and 1 of atropos (2 balls hovers you and locks you in and thus no distance from the enemy core thus not creating the gap in his his spam.) Getting that fully charges warpcores is pointless for the game though. I remember doing it after hours of just waiting to get lucky with the patterns back in july 2012. Dont bother doing it people its not worth it.

Under rating threshold (show) @kacperjab:If you want to defeat melpomene,upgrade is a must. Then,if you are lacking of accuracy,use the "homing"weapon mod. Actually I beat melpomene with no bomb mods and i have 4 rockets. Its attack is pretty easy to dodge if you have a good speed. Or simply use focus if you don't. REMEMBER:Never get hit by its triangles!

Under rating threshold (show) ***Weapon to use: Laser + Split + Homing = No aim, damage is 27x4(weapon slot)x4(number of shots)x2(split)x1.5(split damage)x0.6(homing), minimum spread. With this you don't need to always stay directly under the target, at the same time can keep a constant stream of damage. Plus, if you can get close to the target, you'll deal extra damage because the lasers hit before they split, which will still deal damage. ***Ship: antimatter/auto for maximum bullet clearance, defensive lasers - definitely a must, except the if you need to charge the wrap thingy on bosses. Use green ship if you're slow and need lots of focus, which I recommend.

Under rating threshold (show) yiupang9999, only the first splitter will do anything, the second is a wasted slot. You can see this by installing two and counting the number of bullets you get from that slot which will be 10 (5*2) from a max upgraded weapon. The damage should be calculated (Weapon Damage/shot)*(shot/volley)*(.6 (Homing mod damage mod)*(2*1.5 (splitter shot increase and damage boost)). With those calculations the Damage/Volley is 900 (bullets) vs 1296 (lasers) from a single weapon. The reason Damage/Volley and not Damage/Second is more important is because with homing all of the attacks from a single volley from a single laser weapon are more likely to hit because they will all instantly target the same entity while some of the bullets from a single volley will swerve to hit the same entity while others will still miss. You can load up all lasers/splitters/homing mods and sweep through a level and then switch out lasers for bullets and see the difference between the two. Lasers > Bullets

Under rating threshold (show) You can cheese the first boss during the boss run by sitting at the top of the screen as close to the boss as possible. If you have homing lasers, it'll arc around and hit the boss. You can basically go afk or tab out until the boss dies for no risk.

Under rating threshold (show) Another tip for Atropos: the little orbs are unarmored and can be damaged - the damage goes directly to his health, not the armor. Do as much damage to Atropos' health as possible without breaking his armor - his unarmored attacks do much more damage.

Under rating threshold (show) Okay, so my last comment was a little tongue in cheek, so here are some real comments. I enjoy the game a great deal, and have already spent too much time playing it, so kudos for that. That having been said, the amount of player information is limited at best. You give the player practically no feedback when they've been hit, except for a brief flashing of the health bar, which is not where the player's attention should be directed. Have the ship flash, or make a sound or something to let the player know. Same with grazes. I had to turn the music off just to hear the tiny little "tick" noise it makes whenever I graze. Some sort of visual confirmation would be nice as well. Lastly, the one-pixel hitbox would be nice, as it is REALLY hard to not get hit on bosses, even with the focus ship.
