Question i have for the weapon modifier Split does it split the bullet and the damage of the 1 bullet into 2 or does it split the 1 bullet into 2 bullets with each having just as much damage as the original?

Gameplay aside, I've got to say the hyperion has one of the prettiest attacks I've seen. Annoying as all !@#$, but extremely pretty.

NVM found a way to beat 24 with ease. use the red ship, have 4 fully upgraded lasers with all but one having split+homing, the last one has split+affliction

Hyperion defeated 1st attempt. It helps ALOT to replay a few levels to upgrade. Actually I doubt it is possible without doing so.

The warp core goes up in price for every boss you beat with it. At the end you need to bit all five bosses plus one end boss after each other, after that it'll give you unlimited focus. Just sell it, it's not worth the trouble. p.s. Don't stop dodging when the last boss is dead, he keeps on firing for a while. p.p.s. Didn't manage to read the last message, because it skipped right through it while I was using focus.

This game SUXX so much... I mean upgrades and so are great - no question abaout that. But boss design is fuc.kin retarded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are WAY!!!!!! too strong! I try the last boss almost a hundred times - and didn't even get near defeating him! No matter what ship/weapons/upgrades you use - you just don't have a chance against him. that is totally bullshit! and look, only 7000ppl could defeat it (which is unbelivable o.O) and more than 500.000ppl had played this game.. this means only a bit more than 1% could complete the game... yeah..thats a great game where 99% of the players can't complete... I wanted to give the game 5/5, but with this madness..only 1/5 - game suxx!

If you're having trouble, go easy on your self, use bombs, equip a shield in the warp core slot, don't stress too much on the "don't get hit" achievements, whatever it takes to get through level 25. The achievements available for survival make things a lot easier after.

After I defeated the hyperion on my 12th attempt, I noticed I was stupid enough to beat the hyperion without the warp engine equipped so it didn't get the 20% recharge. :(

Honestly I got bored after a couple bosses. I would guess it's largely just not a game type that appeals greatly to me. I find myself often wishing the screen was a little larger, or that the mouse could be locked into it perhaps, as I constantly clip the edge of the map when dodging, and if you clip off the edge then you instantly lose.

Took 24 levels to understand how to slow the time :-o
Also, Atropos 1 is doable. The trick for the last move of the phase 2 is to slow time, stand still for a bit then jump out of the hole created by your anti-bullet lazer. I managed not to get hit during that phase once ^^

OMG I BEAT HYPERION?! For those who want to know how, I got all rockets with homing mods nd split mods, and one acid mod. My ship had fully upgraded hp and regen and speed (red one). I didn't buy a single damage or fire rate upgrade for the ship because they aren't necessary. I didn't get focus upgrades either, but I would suggest getting those. All weapons and mods fully upgraded. I had a warp drive and an RP collector which I forgot to take off (again, get the shield instead)

Woooah, I was so close to beating it with the freaking warp core equipped, because apparently it has to be in order to upgrade it. Guess I'm not getting whatever that does.

For anyone after that hard badge that should actually be an impossible badge, I found a setup of red hull, 4 rockets, 2 laser ship mods, the healing bomb, 3 slow+armour down weapon mods, and one acid weapon mod to be effective. I used one heal on wave 15, one on wave 21, and one on wave 25.

Okay, wow, I'm so absurdly blind. I didn't even realize I could take the warp core off. That makes an absurd difference.

I call bs. There's no way the fifth boss is easier to dodge than the fourth and the only hope I ever have against the fifth is to use five big bombs at the very beginning to at least get 25% off and die before 50% anyway.

4. Boss number 5 is a pain. 5. On the same note, since Boss number 5 is barely beatable, I don't find it possible to not get hit at all fighting it.

Okay, no one ask me how I did it, but I somehow beat Hyperion on my first try. I forgot to switch to the healing bombs, nearly died halfway through, and used the red hull with four rocket weapons, a shield, and each weapon having the splitter and homing mod.

8 levels in, and I'm still trying to dodge all the stars and research points because they look like things that will hurt my ship. :-P
