Play the game for x minutes or die x times are bad achievements. If someone can beat the entire game without dying or completing the game faster than the requirement, why punish them? That player would need to mindlessly die at the end or keep the game open just to get the achievement. At least it's not required for a badge.

just grind level 8 and get laser. staying in the middle with a mostly upgraded laser just destroys everything and you barely get hit and get 200k every time you complete it

My advice for levelling: in addition to what hiiiii23 just commented about early level farming, acid weapon on lvl 8 and/or 9 will be where you earn the bulk of your money for endgame, just make sure to upgrade speed as well so you can kill everything. My advice for the boss is to hope he just does raindrops + missile attacks (thank God this happened 4th attempt). Fly high to the left or right as each new set of missiles comes out, then round around the bottom to other side and up again, you can avoid all damage this way.

most recent comments seem to be negative on how punishing the game is. But i found away to farm money effectively and plow through the later levels. Early game, level 2 is pretty good for farming,and so is level 5 because when you can 1 shot weak enemies the multiplier goes up by a lot and you get more money!!!

by lvl 7 the lag has set in, I have maxed my weaponry and cannot achieve the medium badge even though I'm killing everything in sight

controls are bad, one can go only up/down or left/right one at a time, diagonal moves not allowed and ship makes uncontrolled or unwanted moves contrary to what I'm pressing on the keyboard... 1 star for a bad game that needs work, should not be botd

I love the fact that this last boss was nearly impossible, it not only takes skill but it takes time, i beat the game with exactly 10 deaths, but in that last fight, it lasted so long it felt like 100. 5/5 game right here

I agree with Co1980. The idea of having a real bullet hell as the final boss is all cool and dandy. However, when it's easier to get no damage on all the other 14 levels and the difficulty not only spikes, but spirals towards infinity (almost, since there are patterns) this means that the game as a faulty design: either you increase the difficulty as any normal bullet hell or you stick to the easy version of it. 3/5

I really liked it, until the final level. Well, okay, I liked THAT in the sense of: I laughed out loud at the bullet hell, but not for playing it. Still a lot of fun in general!

After killing that final boss, I have a mixture of feelings. I'm torn in between "YES F*CK YOU" or "Is it over?".
If this game gets an impossible badge regarding killing that boss without taking damage I'm ending life.

I managed to get a zero hit on the boss but only because I played enough times that I had a run with zero of the criss cross bullet hell crap that was literally the only thing that could kill me on that stage.

Here is how i did this lvl 15(you will get hit by somewhat but you are totally safe from plasma attack and the double bullet patterns) so have constantly 3/4 chance to get pattern where you can afk constantly, due constant bullet can't hit you constantly: used laser and used then this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DKjRf8fPAM

Fantastic game with great music.
Quick strats: Z to autofire
The defence and coverage makes Laser the best for everything but bosses.
The DPS makes Pulse best for bosses, but the delay makes it poor at anything else.
There is a definite increase in the size of the spaces between shots during the lattice phase on the right side of the screen during the final boss.
There is more space to move between lines of shots on the edge of the screen during the mixed phase.

Check Supreme Ninja's comment for strats too. I'm not sure if pulse really is the best weapon, but I took it and it worked. If you want an easy way to beat the boss, do the following:
For missiles, move in a large U shape around the sides and bottom of the screen. The initial missiles will despawn as you move side to side, giving you plenty of space to maneuver and hit the boss.
For the pulse lasers, just go to either side of the screen and sit there :)
V-Shaped+Normal Shots, go to the right side of the screen at the very bottom. You can absorb one shot and go between the V’s. Between each "layer" of shots, you can move back to the middle to hit the boss a bunch
For criss-cross, holy hell good luck. The right side seems to be good, but since the shots move, you'll have to tank a few to move to other locations.
The boss’s rotation of weapons is RNG, so it can get harder or easier. There’s also a small interval between each rotation of weapons that you can go and hit the boss for free.

you know you've been playing too long when your finger hurts from pressing down on the mouse, touchpad, or keyboard button extra hard, as if it's gonna take that last bogey down that much faster.... thanks for the uber-hard hard badge, btw. the only reason it's not impossible is because you're not requiring us to the last stage without any hits. dunno how people are managing it at all: obviously they are if they're getting all the achievements. not a bad game, really, but i gotta allow for the fact that the background music is a blatant knockoff of the main track theme from Top Gear (Las Vegas) on SNES. cool, yes. naughty, also yes.
@Rastertaster: Kong adds the badges, actually. it's not the creator's fault they made it a bit attritive. on the bright side, it's not like they make you beat all the stages to get it.

Just got the hard badge! The tips from other players on the different patterns helped a lot, but here's one I didn't see: there's one pattern of crisscross small bullets immediately followed by larger bullets. People are making it harder than it needs to be. Between the 5th and 6th "points" from the right hand side of the boss, there's a space large enough to hide in, and nothing in that pattern or the "pulse" pattern will hit you. No need to move in and out of the bullets, just sit there until that pattern is over.
