if u make a celle with 3 tech and 3 speed spread out (speed, tech, speed, tech, speed) and make middle cell missle ull get a missle machinegun that shoots 5 rockets per second i dont know if its supposed to do that or if its a glitch

ugh i was just past the first boss, exploring in one direction and a two cannon hit me and i died

bioamoeba is incorrect, READ the guide before you say stuff about the effects of the celles, READ the armor, it SAYS it gives armor pool to the CELLS IN ITS BATCH, learn to place celles right, and you will have an armored cell, so read BEFORE you post, so that you have ALL the information

An addendum to uglymcstick's excellent advice: If you follow up this design with a third outer layer, use alternating grow and armor cells, with the grow cells on the outer corner areas and the armor on the inner areas. You keep the rapid fire attack, get some pretty thick armor which regenrates, and it causes your missiles to grow.

It would be awesome to be able to test a cell out before you finalize your evolution, just to make sure it will work how you want it to. Or maybe add an unlimited mode or something, where you can just experiment with different configurations.

TIPS FOR ALL EXPLORERS:
1 : AS SOON AS YOU ENTER A NEW FIELD, MOVE! When those cannons fire, they hit HARD. Even if you have armor, it's extremely likely that you'll be blasted back into the old field.
2 : Speed Hex's are lifesavers. Forrealz. It's much more efficient in the beginning stages to avoid every missile you see than to tank everything and have to rebuild because one bullet missed your armor.

Good game,Archigeek! The in-game achievements are a good way to record your progress,though I think there should be some more achievements,and if possible,being able to take on bosses again once you defeat them.That way you don't have to go too far from start to get more evolutions. Instead,you can just go into an area you haven't touched nearby the start and have a chance to run into a boss.

tip for new players. dont rush out to get evolution points or whatever. stay in the safe zone and destroy the grey hexagons. they give quite a large amount of evolution points

Once you have made the machin-gun (uglymastic) add 3 grow hexes and make the hexcelle into a triangle. Once you've finished your celle will not only shoot rapid-fire but the missles coming out will be huge. + this to keep this comment alive.

There should be an option on the homepage called "celle editor", which would allow you to build any celle you want, big or little, any celle, anywhere, and test the celle, so that way you don't need to completely grind over and over and over to get to a combination you like.

Ninja, when those certain fast bombers ram into your core into your puny defences they happened to drop a bomb. Ending your puny existence. That is not a glitch. I hate those speed bombers, before I got locking missles. :D

Hey, I'm not sure about how it happened, But my game was playing normally, and Now, now I cant see the mutation choices and part of the bottom and the right of the screen are cutoff, Could someone Help me here? Idk how to fix it. Please Help me fast.

A few tips from me: 1. Place bomb celles next to missle celles - it won't make a batch, but will equip deployed bombs with missle launchers, making them become turrets. You can use them to create a mine field before entering new area, then lure enemies into it. 2. If you didn't figure that out yet, map colors mean: green - your current position, blue - home / respawn point, red - boss area (where boss was spawned, not necessarily its current position) 3. Save whenever you can, initiate self-destruct if you lose any cells. 4. Please [+] if I helped!

Protip: Larger missle and bomb batches have lower rates of fire. Supplementing grow hexes instead won't give as much damage boost, but they will retain their fire rate.
Grow + speed + bomb = lulz. Seriously this game has so much re-playability options it's hard to not play this game for hours.

Well I don't think it has to do with my skill because the first several times I played, I think the bosses came every time I went 1 circle further from the center, but now I'm using even better combos to start with and I keep restarting to different ones yet there are no bosses at all...

heres my strategy, 3 tech and 3 spd like the guy below me, the butt loads of growth. i mean butt. loads. after i get like 7 per evolution i just go balistic with armour, more ultra clusters of spd and tech, and more amour. also DONT FORGET TO SAVE. yeah.
