Never mind, turns out the levels are just not saved as a "Level Up" item, but adjust relative to the total amount of cells eat:cells needed for level up

Losing your intricately webbed hexes makes this game unfun. I would suggest hitpoints instead of using cells as your armour because it's not fun to lose all you've spent the last couple of minutes trying to build.

Good game, but... batch making seems to be inconsistent. I tried making something symmetrical, and the batches on one side were COMPLETELY different from the ones on the other, despite having the EXACT same setup for both, with enough space in between to keep them from interfering with each other :/

The developer needs to fix autosaving. If your dead core flies too far with autosave on,then the game autosaves while you're dead,turning you into a speck next time you load up the game. I have lost many murder machines to this glitch. Thumbs up this comment so the dev can see it!

Nothing can warm my heart more then 2 missile launchers with great seeking and layer of armor with maximized regeneration...

i think if you have a seeking missile you can put your cursor on an enemy and the missile will track from the moment it is fired. :)

I like how you can combine different hexes to make different abilities.
Cool ones: armor+3 Techs=healing forcefield
bomb+techs+speed=homing proximity bombs
bomb+missle+armor=bomb turrets

Random suggestions cause i like this game.
an ability to change what a cell does like missle it could be normal or it could shoot multiple short ranged missles,
Different styles ship and biological
New ship hexs:
Electric hex:makes a field of electricity or could be a weapon or turret (short range if its a weapon)
Beam hex:it requires an energy generator and uses lots of power and can have its beam colour changed.
Generator:makes power
Capacitator:stores power.
Engine:Makes things work and improves thrusters.
Thrusters:Speec hexs.
Gun Batteries:shoots small bullets in groups of 4 and can be upgraded with things.
Ship Upgrades (something to make the game cooler?)
Ammo Cache
Extra Batteries
(anyone can add new ideas)
maybe differences between ship and bio hexs.
Bio Hex:
Spitter:Missle Hex
Wings:Speed Hex
Nerves(maybe something else):tech hex

Great game. One problem I have: Missilus Ubercus (or however you spell that). For some reason I seem to be getting stalked by this boss and unfortunately every time I go into a new bubble, I see the name for half a second then I'm dead. You should give us some small amount of time to register that we're facing bosses before allowing them to kill us. Or at least that one. Great game otherwise

Nice game, but I think it could use stuff like better, more elaborate graphics(simple doesn't have to mean ugly and plain), an encyclopedia of sorts(to catalog enemies, celle batches, abilities, etc.), better control over which celles go into which batch(sometimes you want it to join with one, it joins with another) and just generally more variety.

how the batches are defined? ı add speed but it is not linked , or I add another thing bıt it does not batch with the other cells. ??? must be more clear how to batch cells

only thing I don't like is having to regrow lost pieces...because it takes soo long...needs to be where if you lost a piece your growth rate increases until you are back to max, or that the piece will eventually regrow on its own...

After evolving, I suddenly had two of my hexes being HUGE, about 2.5x the diameter, and floating around my main cell, completely wrecking my layout. Wouldn't mind two Armor hexes doing that, but that was uncalled for. Kinda ruined it. Those bugs didn't exist a half year ago...

@Multifails: Did you build your cells into a tight ball? A warning comes up when you start getting big, where it warns you that cells are densely packed and may implode. After this point, my cells keep getting caught inside one another causing it to vibrate violently, usually only fixed after another evolution or saving and quitting. The problem is, how should I configure my limbs?...

I have found out that if you use only speed, grow, and/or tech hexes in your celle you get an AOE weapon that shoots an orange ring from your core. So, in theory, you don't need missles or bombs to kill other celles. It is hopeless to do so, but not impossible!

So when you level up multiple times, it seems to just give you the benefits of one level. Is this supposed to happen?

@jamesbellini:you need mutations to mutate hexes;if you do have one, you can mutate and adjacent hex and then the spawned one will be mutable as well;if you revert he old hex, you will have mutated only the new one, and this only uses one mutation

Indefinately an awesome game, but for crying out loud why can't you mutate the hex you've just spawned??? I have to wait to evolve AGAIN just to change the hex to the right colour.

This is cool, just do what uglymcstick says and then cover your celle in grow hexes and you will have a meteor shower showerer.
