Ugh... I don't think I have the patience to use the phone on every single thing in the game to find those stupid symbols.

This is an interesting game! It has a unique feel to it, and I like the fact that most of the characters are actually pretty decent folks (while still being really seedy and kind of disgusting). On the downside, the main mechanic seems to be "search every square, and as soon as you get a new quest, search them all again." That's not very interesting to me. I'm partway through act II and I don't think I'll be coming back for more.

once u start playing it gets to you... Nice work.. Also good to know u have some action elements in the next instalment.. although it seemed pretty stupid that i was using my latest phone looking for virgo symbols rather than blasting out jack's red door..

It took me forever to notice that there is an alley between XXX cinema and Lady Medusa. And how are normal gamers supposed to notice that the Bar's wall can dull screws and a needle is sticking out of the wood in the back alley.
I want to like this game but I have no damn clue what to do 90% of the time.

I don't know why this is rated so low. The graphics are pretty good for a pixel game, the story draws you in, and its clear that a lot of effort has been put into this. The only real complaint I would probably have is the fact that you have to take the trouble of going to the inventory when all you want to do is check a space for a virgo symbol, but other than that a real solid piece of work. Can't wait for the next one!

Nicely done adventure game. One bug report though: After meeting the Russian dealer I kept the key to his hotel room, but it wouldn't work on the door anymore. If I try to use it, I get the "That doesn't work" message, which makes no sense since it IS the correct key for the door.

I was really impressed by the length of the game, but eventually I just thought it was too big. And not enough guidance for a lot of it. Checking areas and talking to people repeatedly gets annoying. A lot of the places where the items were hidden did not give any hint whatsoever to having anything of value before hand. Wandering aimlessly is not a plus.

It's probably not a good thing when the character you're playing is so over-talkative and annoying that you keep guiding her back to the alley, hoping that at some point she will be murdered by a transient.

I played through the whole thing and you are entirely incapable of making a game flow. You shouldn't just suddenly get 5 items from one place at a time, with no other indication of where to go or what to do. Pixel hunting doesn't make this game better, just longer. If the player is bottlenecked into a situation where they have to find the one flag event required to advance everyone's dialogue, you have missed the mark. 2/5

I'm sorry, I want to like this game, but after aimlessly wandering around every shop several times, I'm still stuck on 2%. Can we please get a walkthrough, or maybe hints if you get stuck?

ARIFROCKS indeed... 5/5 - at first I didn't think I would finish the game, but it's strangely good at drawing one into it! Totally reminds me of the good old ---- Quest games, kings - space - police...
They drive you crazy when you can't find the one tiny little thing needed to go on, but you just can't quit them! I think I spent about 7 hours on the game myself before hitting the walkthru, just to find I was only a few steps away from the end lol...

Now that I've played through the game, I can say it's just gripping. Like most people, at start of the game I didn't want to read much and I needed a little starter help by the walkthrough. Also the look-at-every-spot is annoying but didn't even hurt the gameplay. Story is 5/5. Graphics...OK, who likes this pixel-by-pixel-graphic...could've been a little smaller pixels for more details. At least I can say that I've found 58/60 virgo symbols. ^^ Keep it up!

Very hard to replay(long chat, can not skip) and i am very dissapointed that game did not auto save at least at tasks change. Also, it does not really feel like 850 solutions, if those 850 solutions differ only at "talk to him, get quest, find item in trashcan, give him item" part. My main disadvantage in game was when i completed the game, looked into walkthrough, found out that i could use "assasin" on the bad guy at end, after looked in saves - last save at 7% game completition. However, this game is really great. Playing the last chapter(which is not on kongregate now) :) 5/5 and i hope that if you will ever create third quest game, you will make it even better.

game flaw, whilst playing i received the caffeine pills and then went to talk to cindy and they were gone, couldn't get anymore, couldn't advance story game = fail 1/5 for lack of testing

Wouldn't the nonpointy end of the screws have worked? You could even have used the pointy ends to fix them to the flashlight casing.

It's been some time since I've played such a nice "Sierra" game. It really feels like Space Quest or King's Quest. Nice Job.

Please... auto-saving is sort of standard in flash games :S. When looking for a walk-through how to get the bent metal thingy I accidentally pressed "back" in the browser at the wrong tab, thus erasing all my data. Manual saving only is not the best option for browser games as the game has no possibility to ask "Do you really wanna quit/dont you wanna save first?" as non-browser games do. I would also like to complain on the needle in the fence, first thing I had to check up...

3 Virgo symbols on the Lavender Club wall and 3 of them inside the first room, you could have just put in 20 you know...
