You might want to had something on the map to mark heart/speed/jump containers, for fragments too. When you're in search of just a few of them, but can't seem to find them, it becomes somewhat boring :/

@arkeus - Died as I also leveled up and the game froze. My fireball aiming dots still follow the mouse, but nothing else moves.

This game is in the Vein of Metroid and Castlevainia but its magic. I freaking love it. I think you should REALLY REALLY look into putting this game onto xbox lives indie. If this game was playable on a controler i would be more than happy to pay a couple bucks for it. If it was bigger with bosses i would pay more.

found a nasty bug: if you die after you kill the color shifting cube (the one that guards the yellow key), the key won't be there when you respawn, so i'll have to restart the game

Found a bug: Press escape after the game ends as it fades out, and the stat screen appears (but fades out with the rest of the game) and interrupts the return to the main menu, freezing the game.

Developer response from Arkeus
This is a bug, and I haven't been able to reproduce it. Feel free to message me any information you can that will help me track down how to reproduce it (my map seems to always save and load correctly).

Medium.my.ass. Greg has made a lot of difficult mediums, but this one is way overboard. It's actually a great game..the problem is the confusion. The map is huge..which would be fine, except there is 0 indication whatsoever to help you figure out where to go. And since everything is scattered all over the map and has to be done in the right order, you can spend hours wandering around only to find blocked passages. I highly suggest using a map. Other than that..I actually really enjoyed this. It just has a certain feel to it and it's one of those games where it's almost sad to be over. Without knowing what you're doing though, it's a clusterf.uck of confusing frustration.

i HIGHLY sugejst reaching level 60 for the final fight. this alows you to break the curcal things with any weapon. break every thing that spawns and don't get the hearts unless you need them. i finished with 93 % ;)

I love it when a dev never focuses on just one genre, and explores every kind they can.. Everything he's made was good, but I have to say, I think I like this game the best so far. 5/5

Was going to give it a 5, but when I chose to continue my game after I finished it to complete the last 4%, the whole map was reset. So yeah not very fun.

Oh Ho Ho It's Magic you know never believed its not so its magic and I could go on and on but you wouldn't want that :)

Just a heads up, at level 60 or so you can kill the multi direction shooters with any attack. And Douse would be the best spell. It clears out everything when charged. Completion 100% Very fun game. Thank you.

Tip for the final boss: Use the water spell, avoid his shots as best you can (well der you should know that by now), kill the smaller enemies as quickly as you can and avoid grabbing the hearts if you have full health.

Ok this is a niggly little thing, but it's really taking away from my enjoyment of the game: the M key is too far away from AWSD.
