OK I was wrong. The upper right purple door is just a fragment shard thingy. The purple door you want is toward the bottom left area of the map.

@Logsamount18: If you're still wondering, then look at your map and match the colour. I'm not that far along yet but I remember there's a dark purple barrier in the upper right on my map.

How to beat boss: enter the big room, but don't pass ?3rd? square. Keep shooting, he won't be visible, but u'll notice his hp dropping. Drill had quite good damage.

After defeating the boss, i was told I couldn't escape without the fragmented power. Now looking nfor the last two fragments, I notice the map has been reset, except the central region.

I beat the boss a long time ago, and thought I had to collect all the fragments to get the completion badge. I've done that too now and still don't have it. How do I "return home"?

Sometimes there are false walls where the orbs are - walls that you can walk through. If you see an orb surrounded by tiles, walk into adjacent tiles to reveal the false wall so you won't have to come back and find the missing orb again.

Amazing game, my only suggestion is a way to place markers on the map, so if I see a power up I can try to find my way to it.

My mouse only responds about 30% of the time, just in this game. Everything else is fine, any ideas what this could be? It's intensely frustrating to stand directly in front of an enemy going 'Click click... clickclickclickclick dammit CLICK!'

I am stuck at some point on the map, can't get out. Too frustrating to keep looking around with all the reappearing monsters for some overlooked place to get back ti the rest of the map. Nope nope nope

Enjoyed that a lot, though the levels are pretty similar. Finding all the keys, spells and crystals was a challenge. So, there are unlimited level-ups... but no clear way home after defeating the boss? Am I missing the ending?

i like the game and beat it with 100%... not so hard tbh a little patience or rapid clicking with shock works well too

Finally. Needed to be like 64 I guess and use the spire ability to beat her. Did not need to collect all shards or power ups to get badge.

little bug: I finished the game at 95% complete, so I played again to gather all the gemstones; turns out the map has disappeared.

Could use some more intuitive game design. Eg. lava should be marked as deadly (ie. sign with a skull on it) when you first encounter it. Because spikes (usually insta-kill) only deal one dmg, the player is set up to expect nothing will insta-kill them. Also, there should be some sort of clear marker for when you're able to kill the block enemies, because that just kind of... is a weird surprise?

i don't think it was too difficult? there are really no repercussions for dying and you can pretty easily over level. i think i only died when i was just being lazy and running through enemies or when i landed in the lava.

@ramjr You lowered your rating on a game because an Easter Egg didn't live up to your expectations? That's pretty pathetic. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and played it through in one sitting. 5/5

I played this game for today's Badge, this is a very nice Metroidvania game you have here! (Good music, too!) Also, the game personally and broadly reminds me of the old Apogee game "Hocus Pocus", probably because they're both sidescrollers starring wizards. (Heh.)

was 4/5 stars but after waiting the entire game to kill the cat and NOTHING i am lowering my rating to 2/5 stars. damn you damn you to hell!

Good game :). One thing I'd like to see done in the future is to have your map progress saved as you go. I had to step away from my computer for a while and when I loaded up and chose the "Continue" option I found that the map was all blacked out save for where I was standing.
