This game reminds me of Cave Story because of its simple mechanics. The story is kind of blend, but the gameplay mechanics are one of the best. My favourite weapon is the rocket, named it instafragger.

@AngelMolina, honestly I am amazed those paparia games are still on here, when they are basically just a copy/pasted format which basically steals from itself. xD And was given Badges, for some reason.

Flamer5000. I think he knows how to access the store in the middle of a game, since he specifies when he is outside of the game. I have also looked for a way to purchase upgrades while in the main menu, and have been unsuccessful.

Plot twist: the humans that the gun is refusing to kill are actually all zombies, and the professor is one of the last few survivors. Gone insane with lonliness, he no longer recognizes his own son, whom he locked away in this cave that he created for his own protection. The boy, similarly insane after no human contact, found the gun and gave it a personality, desperately trying to escape his father's stronghold.

@crispydude358 I'm not sure if this is what you are asking, but if you press the escape key (it has esc on it) you be able to access the shop in the middle of the game. Hope this helps you and others as well.

i wish there was a way to open the store and achievements outside of being in a game, hopefully im just dumb and cant find out how to open it when im not in a game but its annoying not being able to

So sad. I got to some part where there's like 20 ghost ducks attacking me and now I have to restart the game. I'm blocked from going back to make more money, and after like 40 tries I can't beat the ducks.

Okay, feeling like an idiot here but how do I beat the second boss? Can't earn more diamonds for upgrades and I just can't kill it fast enough before the hordes of summons kill me.

Really enjoyed this game. Thought it was a lot of fun. needed some better save points. Came back to find my past chapter runs were gone but other then that it was a fun little game with good music. why not spawn random hearts in final boss levels !!! why not allow automatic regeneration of health upto 50% over a period of 30 secs. Why not allow a recharging invincible armour/shield that is effective for 10 secs and takes 7 secs to recharge !!! why not allow phasing in order to pass through walls but using that reduces gems !!! why not allow the hulk mode which effective for a short time destroys all enemies in the nearby vicinity/radius without taking any damage !!! ..... ah i cud give tons of suggestions but they will be implemented rarely and that too in remote future....

brandon_mdog: That would ruin the point of the game. If you just fully upgraded your missile gun, you'd have absolutely no problem with anything.
That's why there's multiple guns- it's a kind of balance. You can use the Spreader or Rebounder if you're worse at aiming- but you can use the Normal or the Missile if you can aim well.

Po tip: Those annoying buzz saws can be taken out with one shot from your missile launcher, once you get it. They give you stuff too.

if you want to know another way to find secret rooms use the gun... specifically the spreader gun the if the bullets don't hit the wall there is a secret room. + if this helped you

Ah, finally beat boss rush on my first try today. Don't know how that happened. I had been beating the 6th boss pretty easily but dying on the last one. Today, the 6th was harder for me, but I was able to make it all the way. I didn't think the bosses were supposed to be harder on the first version of boss rush than normal game mode, but they definitely are...I had just finished chapter 3 again to get all the red diamonds and beat the turtle king in like 10 sec. Took much longer on boss rush.

Awesome game. Only thing I don't like is how I have to be in a game mode to spend my diamonds. Not only that, but I have to be currently "playing" (so after dying while doing a mini-game have to click restart first).
