so.. I went through the trouble to collect every diamond, every hearth and fully upgraded my stats and guns and I still get the bad ending (which seem to be the only one). Well that was a monumental waste of time

This game is from my childhood, and is just as fun as I remember it. The music is impeccable, the controls are smooth, and It has a great retro feel. 5/5 game

wonderful game. Honestly, probably the best platformer I've ever seen, the style hits classic arcade perfectly in... well, just about everything. Only thing is that... well, I know there's a storyline, I just don't know what it is. If you could shift it so that the storyline popups are click-through windows that pause the game instead you'll do a *lot* better at giving out the storyline, plus if someone doesn't care about the story, clicking through a window 2 or 3 times a level isn't something they'll really complain about.
Another option that would be pretty deevy is running voice-overs, especially for SAGA, that'd be a fun one to figure out voicing for.

Really faulty jumping. Also a terrible idea for an autorun sidescroller to have the character locked in place at the very beginning of the screen. Cant save yourself from the smallest slip-up

Can you add some more upgrades please? I have everything maxxed out and still have legit 66,000 diamonds left. Maybe you can upgrade some of the guns still further, use diamonds to buy skills, merge gun characteristics, and things like that?

The only things that make this less than a 5 -> the boss loses all his health but not only doesn't die, he becomes more powerful, not even knocking him back a bit. And the jump is wrong - I can still be on the platform but it sometimes doesn't jump. Not a huge fan of certain elements not being explained or achievable (i.e. iron blocks) 4/5

This game is a hidden gem (heh) that honestly deserves more praise than it has. Great controls, vivid colors, reasonable difficulty, cool gamemodes/minigames, and lots of replay value make this game stand out a lot. 5/5

You won't need the Rebound. Prime is the best gun, with quick attacks and massive DPS, losing only to a *point blank* Spreader (this is ignoring Crits and Bounces). Spreader is great for cleaning up masses of foes, and is needed for Runner mode. Missile is required for Boss 4 (amoeba's) orange/red forms, but Prime's often better. Prime's Twin and Critical abilities give it immense firepower, while the rapid firerate makes both bonuses super strong. Don't bother with Spread's focus until the end, the extra bullet upgrade helps a lot though and is required for Runner. Btw, I mean it when I say max the first two out. Max power on Spreader lets you OHKO everything until 1500m. Max Prime tears everything apart. Get speed on the Missile before power, Absorb helps a lot on Boss 4, Shrapnel lets it hit random foes. Missiles can break sawblades, making the final Boss much easier. However, just break the saw and proceed to Prime 'em down.

game is very laggy for slow computers. I think im the only on having this problem but my pc can run world of warships really easilly

The battle theme is awesome: bringing back all my 8-bit memories from when the world revolved around Pokemon (and other Gameboy games).

Speed runs are actually quite easy, don't bother killing or aiming, I prefer the rebound gun for this, clears the way quite well, but with all those checkpoints you should never run out of hell even when not killing anything... Just jump through as fast as you can. Levels 1-6 are all doable in less than 2 mins, my best run on level 7 is 4:22, but I still see quite some room for improvement in my best run...
