What this game needs is more speedrun trophies - 2 minute speedruns for all but the last levels and 4 minutes or so for the last one, just to add some more fun :)

I feel like I'm struggling to get past the boss on each level. Is there a faster way to level up so they're a little easier

Hello! I first want to say that I love this game, you are amazing ma dude. So I just noticed a bit of latency when I move my mouse (I move my mouse and it takes a second for the game to respond). It's not game-breaking, just annoying. A fix would be greatly appreciated. And yes, it's not my computer, as I would have noticed this outside the game window.

I had a lot of trouble with the first three bosses, then I beat the last 4 bosses on first try each. I had to replay some of the stages to get enough hearts and diamonds. That slug boss on round three was particularly difficult. Was epic and fun. Going to try the mini games and escape mode.

*Plays game without any defense upgrades..... Dies Inside Don't do that it makes the game impossible (Not impossible but extremely difficult)

just a thought maybe if it your first time fighting the boss the enemys that the boss spawns drop gems to so that if your stuck on a boss you can upgrade stuff. games great ether way

music is good. graphics look alright, but this game suffers the same problem as yesterday's badge of the day game; there is too much of one color on the screen. gameplay is just platforming; its hard to mess up that, but somehow the developer did. controls work, but the upgrades that you get for the gun are useless. a toggle autofire and a laser sight? maybe i just havent gotten that far in this game, but so far the upgrades are trash and there is no benefit for me using them. almost no animations and palette-swap enemies. 1/5 this has linear gameplay, useless upgrades, and unappealing visuals.

I would like a boss mode harder than normal but easier than heroic to bridge the gap. Normal is too easy for me but heroic is just brutal.

Pity when these old flash games don't stand the test of time. Now there's a major memory leak and the game gets unplayable when it takes up 3+ GB of RAM...

1. do the runner mode a bunch. 2 die a lot. 3. wonder why your screen is shifting to the right so much it looks like it's breaking out of the border on your laptop/pc.

My advide for the badges : max the missile gun to easily get the boss run and escape mode. The combo of options shrapnel and absorb makes the boss run quite simple : you can stick in safe places and absorb incoming fireballs. For the run badge, use spread gun with max speed and spread option.

You can check for hidden passageways by firing at a wall, if it hits the wall and disappears you know there's a passage if it just bounces and falls, it's just a wall

I don't enjoy the type of games you make but you make really good ones. Got the badges on this one already but still doing a few things to finish up. Glad you got rid of that dash! Music overlapped in a few places but only for a short time usually when you had a "screen in a screen" Was cool you could press tab and go to achievements/upgrades although a link for them from menu woulda been pretty cool at least for achievements those are slightly hidden. Was slightly annoying that you had to reach certain levels to get certain gear so that you could go back to old levels to get a heart or something that you couldn't have gotten without said piece of gear although at the same time there is quite a bit of $$$ needed and you gotta make it somehow so it works lol. Good job on your games.

sometime.. my jump key doesn't work. for a rogue-like it pretty a shame! but there is more shame on player to dislike comment useful as mine!

God, I hate runner mode so much. It's made aggravatingly difficult by not letting us control where we are on the screen. I can't plan ahead for things I can't see and there's no way to avoid them if I'm already in the air if I can't move right or left.
