@gamerkc Enemies start doing increased damage the higher you are. 700m+ = Two hearts for one hit and some time around 1200m I think it is 3 hearts for each hit.

How about an option to turn off diamonds after you have fully upgraded. So that there is less to worry about and you can worry about making it the never ending top. Just a thought. (:

The character's like a supersoldier...he's got 9 lives, he can double jump, has the force to move jewels, and armed with a pixel minigun...yep, there's no stopping him.

The cave isn't "endless." Your wolf mother abandoned you in a cave at birth, and you fell until you were 13. While falling you found out how to throw rocks to make you fall slower, as you can see by the fact that you lived. After living at the bottom for three years by eating the bodies of dead enemies and dirt salad waiting for your inner ear to finish developing, you begin your long quest out of the cave.

Id like mini-bosses in-between the dificulty changes (green gems to blue and green)
IF they'd sit in the backround and fly up with you, reach their claw for you and you shoot the claw

I came to this game expecting it to be an EpicShadow game XD It may not be, but I am not disappointed, well done! Very good especially for a game that only took <48 hours to make.

My only issue with this game is that sometimes, if I'm bumping against something above me, I can't dash at all, which makes it difficult to dodge some enemies in some areas. I would love it if you could still dash EVEN IF you're touching the ceiling. I might be able to achieve that 1000 meter mark then. :P

It would be cool if you could utilize an item system to account for leftover 3000 diamonds you have. Like maybe you can stock up on health potions for like 500 diamonds ea and a Time Stop/Slow Time item for 5 seconds or something for 1000 diamonds or a bomb item that destroys all the enemies on the screen and etc

This would be way more playable if it had a better shooting mechanic. It's nearly impossible to finesse jump and use the mouse to shoot at the same time, which is required when enemies occupy small platforms.

Had a lot of fun playing this game last night, but here Im on break at work and it didn't save any progress. That sucks, I just assumed its standard now-a-days. Otherwise, cool game.

for those of you having trouble getting the 1000m badge (like me), I recommend that you toggle auto-fire on (f) place the cursor near the top (maybe a platform level down) right-hand side and use one hand to steer and the other to jump. You will still get hurt by enemies from the left of you, but you will kill far more and can concentrate on outmaneuvering obstacles.

Since I have an ever-growing coffer of diamonds with no way to spend them since all my skills are maxed out, I suggest that in between runs, you can buy one-time-only power-ups; very powerful, but countered by the fact that you have to restock on them once they've been used. Shields for 250 diamonds each, which get destroyed in place of your heart points. An emergency teleport for 5000 diamonds, which saves you from falling one time. Time-stoppers, screen bombs, all that jazz.

Great game, awesome soundtrack, lots of useful upgrades. I only have a few suggestions. There seems to be something wrong with the "Collect" feature. When it pulls diamonds toward you, if they start going horizontal, they'll often continue moving that way instead of stopping once you're out of range. Also, it would be nice if the collect radius got to be much larger by the end, so the last upgrade could pull diamonds from anywhere on the screen. And having double shot, triple shot and multi-shot would be nice, to make hitting enemies a little easier. But it's still great, and I'll have to check out the second game.

It would be nice to disable gem collect as the lag that a mass of gems moving across the screen can make the difference between life and death. I died with lag at 991 meters :(
p.s. I love the game

After playing for hours trying to get the hard achievement, it looks like the screen is moving upwards in adjustment to the scrolling of the game.

I hate how when you get to like 850m then something hits you and it doesnt allow you to frickin double jump, it makes it almost inposible to get to 1000m.

Love this game. Upgrades, achievements, and a developer that updates!
Is there any chance of making some rare slug that drops hearts after buying an expensive upgrade? Or I understand if it's supposed to be difficult.

Pretty entertaining game. It held my interest longer than many similar games would. Needs more upgrades, or at least something to do with the mounds of diamonds that you get after you finish off the shop. 5/5

There are so many Portal 2 references in here. SPAAAAAAACE is a trophy, the comments on the Analysis remind me of the negativity of GLaDOS… What is going on here?!

up this if you got so frustrated about not being able to get the hard badge and then realizing that there is this handy little thing call "auto-fire."
