My maximum height highscore wasn't updated. It still shows the old height of 1063, but I got 1246 today.

Google Chrome says Flash Player is blocked, but the game works. I don't know if that maybe blocked the highscore from updating, but I doubt it. I allowed flash on Kongregate.com as an exception, but Chrome still gives me this message.
By the way, I just played this game again after more than 5 years and got all achievements in less than 1 hour! :D

What a ride... Cool optical illusion: for a minute after getting to 1000 meters and quitting, everything on my screen seemed to be still moving upwards, even after I quit the game!

This game has the worst difficulty curve ever in it's enemies. You can't tell me that most of your deaths in lategame are because of enemies hitting you in the earlygame giving you only 2 hits remaining once you get to 750m. There should be LESS enemies in the beginning, not the same amount of enemies but with less health. Or that or HEALTH REGEN. Thankfully i got the hard badge, but it got really tiring fast. 4/5 because the game is awesome before getting too competitive.

Great game, awesome soundtrack, lots of useful upgrades. I only have a few suggestions. There seems to be something wrong with the "Collect" feature. When it pulls diamonds toward you, if they start going horizontal, they'll often continue moving that way instead of stopping once you're out of range. Also, it would be nice if the collect radius got to be much larger by the end, so the last upgrade could pull diamonds from anywhere on the screen. And having double shot, triple shot and multi-shot would be nice, to make hitting enemies a little easier. But it's still great, and I'll have to check out the second game.

i want it auto shoot, so that i don't have to click the mouse, if possible, a extra upgrade for new weapons would be nice, for example, auto aim lasers or missiles~~maybe a "regenable "shield too~~

Once you reach a certain level of upgrades, take your hand off the mouse and just focus on the jumping.
The game doesn't really get harder and you jump around so fast that shooting is an unnecessary distraction.
Reached that 1000m with ease.

5.2k diamonds beyond 51/51 upgrades look horrible. Some resurrect item costing ~2k (limited to one, consumed after the resurrection) would be much appreciated.
Idea of achievement: climb 500 meters / 60 seconds without losing a heart.
Can't believe such a simple game was this much fun. GJ!

cheats too much. In many cases, I press to jump and nothing happens, or I jump, and it doesnt jump as high as I told it to jump, or I tell it to move and jump, and it doesnt move and jump the way I told it to.

This is one of those games best played wit a mouse. Trying to climb AND kill enemies using a touchpad is excruciatingly difficult. Otherwise a good game.

makes at least JUMP to work EVERY damn time if u cant make ALL buttons and SKILLS to work properly ! its frustrating to die on 980 m coz button you pushed was not accepted and your char walk off from platform u stand on into his death ! and game has lag issues what kills every damn time if it happens over 700-800 m

I recommend another power-up which allows you to hit the slimes on top of their head with a 10second cooldown or something like that. Name it Spiked-Shoes or something like that. Also, A grappling hook with a 25-30second cooldown in case your double jump fails and need a boost. Using R to activate it.

Also it'd be nice (for me anyway) to remove the gems once all skills have been bought because you know human greed. :P (If this is done and the power-up to collect all gems is in then it'd be changed to a random one.) Also forgot to mention (though I think it's obvious) the powers would have a timer except the shield and probably the collect.

This is a pretty damn good scroller game that has great music, good responding controls, and nice skills. However, I'd like to suggest things like power-ups and a final skill once you have all the other ones. First the powers; a speed increase of either 1.5 or 2, a bullets spread (1, 2, or 3), a shield that negates a bullet/slime, and possibly a collect all gems on screen. Also maybe have an upgrade menu for those (it's fine either way.) And lastly have a skill (just one level or two) that has a .5% (or 1%) chance to dodge an attack making you invulnerable for half the time of your resilience. Just some thoughts that seem cool to me. 5/5 anyway though. Love the music.

This game was made very well. It seems to be very fine tuned and be very smoothed out. TI have no complaints on the game. Loved the upgrade system, and that you can upgrade mid-run. Love the abilities. Love the how the value of gems scales as you get higher and higher, compared to the increasing cost of upgrades. There is a nice balance between the money you make and the money you need to buy the next upgrade you want. I always felt like I had just the right amount of money, enough to give me one or two upgrades per run, and never to much or too little. It's skill-based yet not painfully difficult. Very well made, great job. 5/5 and favorited.

Not a fan of the scrolling race. It's not like the bottom of the cave is filling up with lava or anything. If it scrolled as you jumped higher, but didn't progress until you climbed again it would be better. You could still die if you fell off the bottom of the screen.
