as soon as you get used to the fast paced rescource collection just use the pause button and put sweep towers and some swift towers. fill em with gems. Really good game like always, Arkeus. I would love to see more of your work soon.

Loving this game! One of the very few games on Kong that I rated higher than 3 stars. It only loses points for being too short. Otherwise, I can't think of any way to improve it. Keep up the great work, Arkeus! I hope to see more from you in the future.

For a Ludum Dare game, it's pretty solid. It's pretty clear you really made those 48 hours count. Although I think it might be a little unbalanced as putting a few sweep towers seem to get me the upper hand quickly.

I hate when "endless mode" is just the same levels with more difficult waves so you would lose very fast.
I would like to have a real ETERNAL MODE where you can waiste your time upgrading and upgrading and observing the screen all the time you want. Is frustraiting that I will never see my hero developed to the max or what my wonderful towers are capable of... I dont endure enogh in the @#%!!! "endless mode" :(
Other by that I liked so much this game...

Good game, rated 4 stars, I know it was made in 48 hours, would like to see more time put into it, to make it more challenging for a start. Every level is exactly the same, match several woods, place several swift towers at strategic places, level up, do that 8 times. How is that a Hard badge.

Cute game, but at time I really feel rushed, multitasking needed here. But not too difficult to get all the badges in a very short time.

fun game. I like TDs and this one has new elements which are fun.
In some ways the rush of the tile matching takes away from the "stop and strategize" aspect of these games, but the ffeature is novel enough that i dont mind.
please add a confirm to the quit button.

An interesting idea, but it feels like it's trying to do too many things at once and more focus on being two of three would've allowed it to better exploit being a tower defense and rpg (or maybe gems) game. There's quite a jump in hard, and endless mode is not really explained.

I've been playing Endless Mode for over two hours without a single monster making it past the halfway point... Maybe make it harder?

regarding a phase game and keeping the player entertained during the rounds: Give full hero access to the player and allow them to control him during defense phase.
Also, what is the point of earning the stars for each level if you don't get a chance to spend them? Maybe you could have hero upgrade unlocks like special attacks or even a spell section like meteor strikes. Great game so far with alot of potential

and another hard badge for me, the best way to beat this game is, first make every Level on easy and collect good weapons and gear for your Hero, then you can start making the first levels on Hard, it dont looks like, but a good geared Hero is sometimes better then a full upgraded tower. I also managed to beat every Hard Level without losing any Fortress Life (but it was close sometimes, my Hero saves it most time)
And a small tip: dont care about gear if you play the Hard Modes, it just waste your time making ressouces for your Towers

Now that I have finished the game I must say this game is very unique for a tower defense game....and it has now easily become one of my favorites...I normally hate tower defense but the way this game works I just can't hate it at all...well done!

This was a tiny game with a TON of content: towers, upgrades and orbs; a hero who levels and can be equipped, and a puzzle half of the screen. I enjoyed this game a lot but I would've much more enjoyed if there were some breaks .. my elbow is sore now and I couldn't even watch my towers crushing the lovely designed foes. As suggested I too would prefer a separate puzzle-resource-gathering minigame before the actual tower defence level. Anyway, big compliment for this awesome piece that, with some improvements, could easily compete with the top tower defence games of today.

Awesome game, just pointing out: in survival mode, when the inventory is full, how do you get rid of the older equipment? 5/5 :)

Awesome concept, great implementation; putting so many aspects together and having it all work so well in the end. One thing that would help, IMO, is a comparison between equipment in your inventory and items you have equipped, as you hover over them, so that you don't have to go back and forth between the two. Even just having your equipped items also pop up windows when you hover over unequipped ones of that type would do it.

And yet another amazing game. Wow! This game combines everything I like in these flash games into one ultimate tower defense game. 5/5 stars! Sequel? ;)

The only problem i have is that is you restart the first level, you will get a sword and shield again in your inventory. Please make a garbage bin to throw out any unwanted things in your inventory!

Wow, you know a game is addicting and fun to play when you start playing sometime in the evening and "just one more lvl" turns into "jeez, those street lights are bright...... oh wait, that's the sun coming up", lol. 5/5 ^^
