Great game, but I found I have a small problem. Well, less a problem than an exploit. The first level is infinite, if you don't do what it tells you to. You can just sit there, getting your hero experience, for as long as you like. Might want to fix that, say five it a 30 sec time limit for each step, so that people have time to learn, but not enough to cheat.

This scratches an itch I've been having ever since I completed Puzzle Quest. I would love to see a bigger version! :)

nice game, might be more fun if you add more feature to the puzzle system haha. like combos or such, as i mainly focused on the puzzle rather than the battle/TD. 5/5 anyway and keep up the good work for the next game! :D

It appears that the endless high scores only get reported to kongregate's score system the very first time that you try the final endless map. It would be nice if the scores were reported after each endless map. Otherwise, good game.

I'm on a Mac running 10.7, and this game, as well as several others on here (maybe 1 in 20?) run really slowly in Chrome, but beautifully in Opera. It seems to be matters involving mouse movement, but nothing else. Any idea what might be going on? It seems to be specific to Mac 10.7's Chrome, so I wouldn't suggest running out and changing anything, but I'm hoping Chrome fixes it soon

Suggestion: As for the "satisfaction of Tower-Defense-Games", why not add 2 Waves at the end of every level, which are considerably easier than the previous ones, so the player can kick back and just enjoy the show? Rather cheap solution, but it would work ^^". Other than that, speed button, Trey could react a bit quicker after he managed to kill something and he needs attack-preferences as the towers. Anyway, great game! =D

God, I'm surprised about how this game is underrated! One of the best I've ever played, sadly finished it already, i think an Impossible badge would be perfect (like having a big total amount of time in survival) but no hopes for it =\. Hope you see my comment Arkeus, 5/5 amazing game!

GAW FFFUUU! Here's a suggestion: make the QUIT button RED and give a confirmation before quitting... I would, no matter how hard I try to avoid it, instinctively click it thinking it was the unpause button...

Couple quick questions: What do the purple resource blocks and dark blue stone-looking blocks do? (Not the light blue mithril, but the one that looks like the stone block but backwards.)

it's weird that nothing adds to strength, however I have seen a piece of equipment that adds to all the other 3 stats. The game is a pretty nice mix, I have even used all of the towers here, after resorting earlier to only skybound. The best combo seems to be skybound+poison+swift, target highest, placed earliest, up to the max ASAP, this lets you not to worry about monsters for quite a long time on any map. Still some cons are there: eventually you're maxed out on anything in survival, so you're overrun on a certain time point no matter what you do, thankfully the achievements don't go beyond that. Hero does not heal, and is mostly useless in the later stages of the game, while earlier he can help eliminating monsters indeed. There is not much time to do anything but combining, you can't even plan ahead, so drop em towers and don't care. Equipment generator is somewhat ok in survival, but screwed in the later stages of story. Overall, 4/5

The most important thing about TD's is the balance. Complexity only hides it, graphics only misguide you and music is just a flow taking you away. In the end, I never return to a TD unless I know it was balanced and replaying is actually a challenge. And I won't play this, since I cannot believe u balanced it in 48 hours. Reading the comments, I am right.
Now spend 48 more hours balancing it and I might be back. Sweeper/swift == gg

There is a nasty little bug in the later stages of survival where the stones automatically replace heroes shield (and make it disappear). This happens repeatedly and renders him unable to use his shield slot.

Very fun and enjoyable tower defense. However, the difficulty needs a boost, even on hard mode the game posses little challenge. This is likely due to hero becoming very powerful and the pause feature being a little too effective (and removes too much tension tbh). Also, there is really no need to use anything other then sweeper or swift tower. Some more tower variation would go a long way to improving replay value. 4/5.

Tip for getting medium badge: Pick map 7 and line the middle row with swift towers. Focus on upgrading/gemming them and the medium badge is easy mode.

Honestly, this is by far the best tower defense game I have played. It is a very original concept, having something to do in the background whilst placing towers. As a bit of a suggestion, how about obstacles that you can place to slow or damage monsters, like a trap or something. Deserves a 5/5

This is proving to be a very entertaining game indeed. I like the combined elements of Tower Defense, RPG AND Gems, although the feature I think I like the most is the ability to pause the game in order to build my towers/equip my character so that everything isn't so overwhelming and all-at-once. Thank you! 5/5

Instead of random score-zones for the Hero's tools and gear; A Prefix, Suffix, Title system should be adopted.
*Last-Legs Hide Garments of the Lumberjack = Torso Armor (CprRnk) : +3 Protect, Durability -60%, +1 wood resource for every 3 tree resources collected while gathering in the Forest.
*Demascan Steel Sword "Einhaydon" the Hollows' Bane = -72 Damage, +210% Durability, +36 Agility, +45 Defense, +18 Resistance, +12% Chance of Counter-Attack
just examples... don't be angry me
