Instead of random score-zones for the Hero's tools and gear; A Prefix, Suffix, Title system should be adopted.

*Demascan Steel Sword "Einhaydon" the Hollows' Bane = -72 Damage, +210% Durability, +36 Agility, +45 Defense, +18 Resistance, +12% Chance of Counter-Attack

The ability to pause is invaluable. This game should merge with Demon Rift and Villianous to create a TowerDefense, CastleHordeSeige, Semi-Turn Based World Conqueror with Hero and Story! Mwahahahahahaaaaa

I'm DROOLING! I'm DROOLING!!! This game MUST go into the Kongregates Greatests. The down your throat TowerD action PLUS a 5-na-ROW Puzzler as your resource builder. Now add in Hero custimization (though softly) with Random Stat loot equipment and hero exp leveling.

It seeems little coplicated on beagining, becouse it is hero with his equipment and different towers with can be upgraded few times and put 2 gems in them and of course geting resources for this by mathing symbols...but in practice it was easier then i thout.

Probably the largest issue I had is the one I have with all clicky games, they hurt my wrists. if there is a way to move tiles horizontally and vertically in teh same click, it would releave a lot of that tension.

Cool game. Not a finished game, but the basis for an idea that was concise and well executed. This has a lot of potential.

Absolutely terrific game, Have been playing for 5 hours straight.
-Few suggestions, Maybe adding in a 'final wave' or have a wave tally E.G. 1 / 50. (Hate having full inventory of weapons and stage ends.)
-when you finish a level, maybe go straight to the level screen instead of main.
-If you get 2 full rows of something on the farming screen (can be different) get a bonus of some kind (people will try harder to save mats for bigger combo gain)
-For when inserting gems, be good if you could highlight a tower, then double click on the gem for auto input.
-When you get a row of something in the farming screen, be good if a little number popped up showing how much you gained.
-When equipping items, where the stats are for the new armor (unequipped) it shows underneath what you already have equipped.
-Maybe gems for the hero too?
I hope any of this has helped.
This really is a good concept for a game, I hope you make more games in the future.

Did anyone else notice the Hard Achievement is VERY easy to do? I did it very quickly. Only had to redo one stage, once. And that was the last one.

My request: It's frustrating to get a nice pack of items...then whoops, they're gone because it's the end of the round. Could items stick around between rounds, or at least stay on the round until we choose to end it (rather than being kicked to main menu at round's end immediately?)

In response to what Robin said, I prefer it this way, but perhaps a realtime/turnbased toggle ala X-com apoc which separates modes? That'd be pretty swell. The tiles would be moved faster and easier imo if you used a mouse/keyboard combo than just mouse. Sometimes I miss and it clicks and drags the next row over due to the lagtime of click-to-movement (I go pretty fast on the tile matching part. It starts moving the other way if you go diagonal too fast.)
I think you should have a harder mode as well, maybe 'extreme' which uses the old pace with maybe a couple unique monster types, but gives you bonuses for getting 6+ matches, two way matches, that sort of thing (like other tile matching games do). Essentially you have one half game and one whole game, but I think you can make two full games going on at once with a little more effort, and it will feel and flow much better for it.

My hand hurts, it would be neat to add being able to move the tiles horizontally/vertically with the WASD or arrow keys instead of having to click. But awesome game, really original. Keep up the good work.

Really need to give time at end to look over and equip armor, I had just got'n a double line of chests, but to my dismay the level ended and all the armor I got was lost..

I like this game, but if its possible, i'd like to compare my actual equipment and the selected one, so i can see which one is better, and maybe colored names according to the stats. Anyways 5/5!!

Great game!!! Old school is nice, even for something semicompletely new. Only thing is you get so busy sliding the resources that you cannot enjoy anything else. But other than that, the game is more or less perfect! <3

One simple bug that I noticed is that when you have 2 towers close together and click on one, it's impossible to click on the one next to it over the menu (tower options)

Awesome game, your goal of player not being bored while watching towers attack was succesful. I was so concentrated I found myself in minute 12 in endless mode without even noticing :). Definately 5/5. PS : I'm not a sucker for great graphics, but some improvements would be welcome, maybe in version 2 :)

I really LOVED the concept of the game. Puzzle + RPG + TD = utter goodness. Right? Kind of. Since you have to do *OMG_EVERYTHING_AT_ONCE* it does get a little confusing for the slow-minded-people (such as myself) :) I've read the comment where you said it was intentional the game having this pace because some people feel bored on traditional TD games. One thing you could do (perhaps not on this game but on a sequel or similar one) is letting people choose whether they want to do all-at-once or taking turns (resource gathering and then the TD part). Like on some RPGs, like Final Fantasy, where you can choose between Active Battle or Wait. That should help everyone!

very easy easy badge trick - in the first level just dont build a tower till after you have gotten 10 levels worth of stars also a good way to get the stock up suplies achivements and the build tower ones.

The more I play, the lower I score it - too frantic, too much fiddling with the slider game to upgrade, too much frustration. There's no time for strategy, no time for nuance, down to one star from five originally.
Sorry. But as a game progresses, it should allow and encourage and require a more sophisticated game play, rather than just speed up.

this game needs an easy way to compare inventory and equiped weapons and armor. maybe when you hover an item a lil windoy could appear se we can do that?

TIPS** You only need Swift towers! On each lvl, 3-5 swift towers are needed to beat the hard lvls. Upgrade them as fast as you can and watch the carnage. Dont bother with any other tower. Focus on items for the prince (and if you want orbs for the swift towers). Most importantly, you must upgrade the towers asap.
