1)Strategic resources are the only unit building res. The rest of the 3 go only for building uprading. Consider units costing a combination of them. Infantry Costing MANPOWER and Strategical, Drones costing ENERGY and Strategical, Airplanes ENERGY and EQUIPMENT and so on...
2)Great game still!
Hi Drip the gold is the game currency. We give you some golds when you begin and it enable player to build a robust base.
Also the game is free2play and you can play it without spending kreds from begining to end. A lot of players noticed the game is really free2play, read their comments.

Just one problem, however. During battle training, I noticed some spelling errors, wether or not this American, just thought I'd point it out.
Rocket you are right there are unfortunatly some spelling errors in the game. We are actually working to review all the game :) Anyway thanks for your report, don't hesitate to share your thought about Atomic Strike here or in PM.

A good game, but there are some problems in the main screen is a little slow(where are the buldings) the menus remain open like lagging, but it is good.
I dont understand how can i upgrade the cars and airplanes.
Gia you can increase units power with upgrades, they are dropped by the general staff every day you return manage your base. Also i am actually working on a new feature that will enable to unlock favourite upgrades, I'll probably release it tomorrow ;)

one of the things i dislike most about many games of this type (not just this game) is the gimmic of having to click on the buildings every 2 hours to collect resources! it's really annoying to start the game up in the morning and get only 2 hour's worth of production-especially since it takes 1/2 hour's worth to build 1 new tank! the "extra supply" is interesting, however.
Hi Eric, thx for sharing your thought, this kind of mechanics in fact is part of strategy games in general, you have to know that lot of players enjoy the ressources management systems, gift incomes and other stuff that enable them to make the better choices in their improve and so on. All day long they discover new features, new items, the game experience become more interesting with the time.
But we understand and respect that for some players, this mechanics is not the main interest.

One wee Request at the risk of being shouted at RE: atomic strike being an MMO. This would KICK A*S! However please try not to forget some people (namely me) also enjoy the single player aspect and dont always enjoy getting an a*s kicking off others who are far better than me lol :)
A*s kickings build character... or so they tell you as they administer the kicking lol :)
^^ don't worry ZombieMutt the mmo part will be totally separated from the actual adventure game ;)
We'll create a bridge between the 2 parts in which people who doesn't want the mmo part will be not annoyed.

I ahvent unlocked artillery yet. WIC had an INCREDIBLY GOOD artillery feature, no longer the "blah blah slightly longer firing glass cannon" but "HOLY CHRIST ON A BIKE IM FIRING ACROSS 5-10 Kilometres with LOW ACCURACY", ergo, the real artillery fire.
Also a little problem. I unlocked the F14 or whatever was the A-10's next unit, yet my launches during the mission were A-10's, when klicked, said, "This is F14" I carefully observed the damage and they had the A-10 stats.. All that investment useless through a BUG, now I am sad :(
Concerning the 2 first plane they are represented by the same unit but they are really different in damages and life.
the plane #3 and #4 are represented by an other graphics and so on.
(we apply the same graphics each 2 different units level in the game engine because this is a memory issue management, if we don't do so the game wouldn't run in half of players computer)

can you please make it so survivors of a fight can come back and you dont have to rebuild costing thousands of the dollars.

good game but there are infact alot of grammar and spelling errors such as in one of your latest comment. 'and we don't reviewed it before launching the game.' not making fun of you its just funny because talking about spelling mistakes you make a grammar mistake. 4/5 one thing about the game is units targeting enemies is a little messed up and firing takes a while even when they just get in range.

the game is fairly well made, i like that there finally is a browser rts where you actually control your units. there are a few bugs though. also you have some city names and grammar wrong one name is Bergan, Norway, that should be Bergen and you are using he about things.

A reminder: consider making some units fire other than tracer machinegun fire. YF-22 's and B-2's could drop stuff and apaches could fire minirockets...I'm sure it will attract even more folks to the game when you run a trailer of the game with new effects.

first real mission i failed an objective and it said objetif fail.... spelling error? or am i just losing the small amount of sanity i have left?
hi sheepy, I made some spelling errors because there is a lot of text and we don't reviewed it before launching the game. FYI someone is actually reviewing all the game ;)

All countries are not set in the game, the choice is more technical than other thing. But anyway we plan to add 10 more countries next week.

Sorry, but this is one of those games that you have to pay to get an advantage in. Out of principle, i will refuse to play this on a flash game site. However, due to the fact that i am out right refusing to play, does not mean that this is in any way a bad game, or reflects my views to look as if I'm assuming this is a bad game. Its just out of my principle. I have given no rating rather then a bad one as i have not given this game a fair shake by playing it.

Is there a way to get gold in game? Or only through kreds? No point to play this game ifyou cannot get gold in game... it is like,.. crippleware. Gold just gives to large advantage.

Missle attacks ruined it for me. I wanted a command and conquer like game not a game where I have to keep manually targetting missles every 5 seconds

when i enter and leave full-screen mode sometimes i end up with the headquarters screen trying to run in a window that's too small-hiding the bottom of the play screen, making some tabs and information inaccessible. refreshing helps, but i apparently will have to refresh after every battle...

Just started playing this. Thanks god no money are needed to play, cuz it looks like a great game, even if fast-paced rts aren't exactly my fav. My 1st battle was a bloodbath so I'm pretty out of everything and i want to keep my gold and extra supply ;)
Would be nice to have even a little gold income, or a reward for completing mission. Also, I wouldn't mind if you put in some little Ads (better while loading battles or such, nothing too invasive please)
On the technical side I can say the fullscreen mode is very handy, but the units are a little small to identify from each other (maybe it just needs time?) Graphics is also above average, very good for a flash game. The models are also well made.

Oh, a little note. Had to reload the page 3-4 times to get the game working, sometimes it hangs out in the loadings. Using Firefox latest version. Dunno if it's just me.

Anyways, i just played a bit and unlocked some mission, but i was wondering what the does the percent on top of the red soldiers mean ? I completed mission 2 once but it don't seem to go down >.>

hi akyna, the red soldiers on the main map shows you how many enemy forces occupy each battlfield, 100% they completly occupy the terrain, 0% you captured the terrain. When all enemies are destroyed on a mission you can consider you have done a good job and repel enemy in other missions.

I would strongly recommend having all of the text reviewed by a native speaker of the language. At least for the English text, several parts of it are virtually meaningless. I'm reasonably sure it's nothing but a poor translation, but as they stand, some of the sentences simply make no sense and I cannot figure out what they were -supposed- to mean.
Thank you Stormsinger for your advice, the translation was done by persons who speak english fluent but you are right we are planning to review it soon. We hope you will continue to play the game dispite this imperfection.

not really an issue, but when I tried to select a city, it froze so i refreshed and it automaticly picked something for me. Is their a way to change your city after starting?
Hi catman, sure you can, you have to select your country, after that enter the first letter of your city into the city textfield , it will display all cities with that first letter, then you select the city in the option list displayed or continue typing the rest of the name. Make sur the city list is not empty, it mean the city does'nt exist in our records

First of all, Armagame... Kudos for responding to comments, other developers should learn from you! I've got a question, how is scoring on mission calculated? I've run "Lake" multiple times with no losses, all missions accomplished and get around 17k, but I see others get up to 40k. It's not that I'm a sore loser :), but I'm genuinely curious...

HEY, WHERE IS BRAZIL????? Thats a think of insult to brazil people who play this game, but getting this out its the better real time strategy game... one of the most awesome ive played
