Some glitch made the game freeze when I equipped any automatic weapons, and only move when I fired... I call it bullet-time reflexes.

My one complaint? The game is too friggin' easy. Once you've bought the fort, all you have to do is pick off all of the monsters you can in a wave until they threaten to swarm you, then sleep off the rest of them. Patch the balloon between waves, and that's it.
Now if the monsters inflicted minor damage on your balloon and fort as they passed, THEN this game would pose a bit more of a challenge.

I have few questions to ask. Why can't we shoot from the tower (our house)? Why doesn't the pick up trucks pick him up? What are those monsters? Why can't the monsters get you when you are on your tower (house)? Why does the pick up trucks not get attacked? How does the pick up trucks carry those stuff? How does the machiens heal you? Finally, How does he fix the hot air balloon?

would be funny if after five minutes of flying after completing the game he would crash again, so he have to do it all over again.

There is a way to cheat. hit jump and sleep midair then you dont fall and keep doing it and u are at the top of map and nothing can hurt you. i put down barb wire and spikes beforehand and stand above them and all ground creatures die on the wire and spikes. hax.

If theres one thing i love about this game, its the music. Just creepy enough to give the feeling of a hard couple of days ahead, but not enough for hoplesness, making it to where people try and thrive.

Another game this guy made that was similar to this one is called the next floor, so for those of you who want a sequel go play that one :)

It's too bad this never got a remake or a non-Flash release, because it's just as fun a decade after it first came out. Here's hoping that the adventurer made it safely to wherever he was going in the first place.

When I came, I had nothing but a pistol. No money,no shelter, stranded, all alone. But now I leave a rich man with 78k and an entire arsenal of guns and traps, even leaving behind a stronghold of 3 stories with 3 powerful turrets for someone else who might find himself in a situation like this. All this, because blob monsters carry money, and supply trucks just happened to go by where I crashed,in a monster infested forest. I never knew if he made it out though.

There's a way to auto fire pistols. Keep pressing R and shoot at the same time. This means no reload weapons. + to help those people stranded in a wasteland with a bunch of monsters.

This was a fantastic game. Played it on another site long ago, getting achievements is a great excuse for a few more plays.

to klaue you didnt notice the lsleep button. right under the traps and guns setting? i think was pretty clear considering its in the left side of the screen the whole goshdarned time. though i do hope this helps your next run

The enemies need to attack the fort when you are on it. Maybe if you are sleeping, only certain enemies would stay by to attack it?

Fun little game. Pretty easy. I understand why for the game we can't shoot guns from the fort, but it doesn't really make sense. Maybe reducing the damage and/or accuracy from the fort instead?

It was a nice little game. Not difficult unless you made it difficult. Plenty of mediocre upgrades - except for the machine gun and first fort. And plenty of fast forwards. I took my time buying everything and leaving the balloon at 99% just so I could leave whenever I wanted to.
