Protip to make the hard badge really easy:
Just go through and complete the game as fast as you can not worrying about gold. When you finish it you get the black hole and then just go back and the black hole will make it too easy.

i dont want to sound like a troll, but i must say that dims levels: a) dont look like castles (not so important) b) dont require a big amount of intelligence or skill (somehow good) but just simple luck (somehow crap) and c) are after the 15th try just annoying and not fun (really important)
to make it short: dims levels suck (and unfortunately the last level is one made by him -,-)

SO much fun. Zombie mode was a hoot and i think could be fully expanded to make it more challenging and engaging with different terrain and obstacles.

Tip for undead mode: if the zombies are nearby, just let the shot swing. It'll kill them before they damage your trebuchet

wow the undead mode should stand as a game alone and it would still be hella fun. But I'd definitely add more stuff to it.

To easily beat dim's last level just freeze both magicians using an ice bomb and then blow them up. Can be done in 2-3 shots. Hope this helps!

wow dim this is supposed to be crush the castle. not some nerd calculation hit the right spot just to kill one guy?????

And on that fateful day, centuries ago. Ted, the lowly peasant learned that he could withstand the pressure of not one, but TEN iron barricades.

Captain Obvious says: "hard badge pic is a remote bomb because the other ones at your disposal will be useless against 3/4 of the so called castles, and in that 3/4 of so called castles that you are forced to take down using the hateful remote bomb you are definitely gonna be hating the hateful remote bomb". Captain Obvious also says that he will never use a remote bomb anymore, in any game he'll play, in the near future as in the most distant one.

*New Dim level comes up*
Me: Tries to get gold by using precision and luck....
-Selects the group of three bombs-
"WAHAHAHA TAKE THIS DIM"
-Finishes on shot 17-

Honestly, at this point, I feel like it should register as a death if the NPC sprite just moves a certain number (single digits) of pixels. Getting a little tired of having half a castle lying on top of an arch support peasant.

I honestly think that rather than just you picking the packs, that we, the players should. That way, we can pick levels we feel are well-made and will provide a challenge. I'm not saying the designer shouldn't pick any at all, but lets us pick some also, and possibly allow users to only have 1, or a max. 2 levels published. If we do it like this, you will recieve 5 times less negative comments. I can promise you that.

Soldier : "Siege Master, how can we recognise the undead people ?"
Siege Master : "That's simple, they're moving."
Aside that joke, great game.

Oh, and how do I get these 'foundation' blocks? I can't find them in the castle builder. If I have to get the achievements 'My First Castle' and 'Playing Forts' (both of which I should have already gotten, but still don't), I'm gonna start tossing BFGs all over the place.

Interesting. 15 tons of woods and stone come crashing down on a barrel of explosives, yet it fails to explode? It just rolls over.
Yet when I shoot a piece of wood or a chunk of rock it explodes on impact? Nice concept.

It would be cool to have online mode where you had ranks and could build a castle and 2 players compete to kill the enemy. + if you want online mode :D

First off, as has already been mentioned, Dim's levels SUCK! I'm not usually one for leaving comments in any capacity, whether I love or hate a game. I have enjoyed each and every Crush the Castle until now. His levels are ridiculously stupid and tedious. It's a shame to have this happen to such a great game series. That being said, I also do not at all understand the physics for the explosives... Your projectile MUST touch the barrel in order for it to explode? Why not have the same physics for it's destruction as the peasants, lords and ladies? I love the series and hope the next installment is more fulfilling than this tripe.

I don't like the fact that dim's levels are mostly indestructable, not so much that they are based on luck... sure it takes skill to get it in the hole but it really takes the whole 'Crush' factor out of "Crush the Castle".

Guys, you have to take a screenshot of the proof that you completed the badge's task and send it to Kongregate so they can retire the badge.
