There is a problem issue about this game. Whenever I go to my castle that I've created when I'm on my profile, I went back to the main menu and continued what I'm doing, but it appears that my data has been erased and my castle that I've created. I didn't know why that happened. If you can report that bug issue to Kongregate, that will be good to get things straight where it supposed to be. Hit the "+" if that happened to your data too.

Tip: Dont worry about getting all gold until you unlock more powerful things to launch. Towers that seem had to you now will be easy throwing something like acid. + this comment if it helped you :)

The characters go from being able to lift 50 tonnes off stone, wood, and steel. To bursting in a bloody explosion from a pebble hitting their foot.

i thought to myself, dang this game is so hard, then i realised the one shot limit was to get gold, not to complete the level. (facepalm)

I love how you can cheat by going to a level and unlocking a new bomb, then going to a previous level and using that new bomb to get the gold.
