Advice for the hard badge: Don't bother to finish all levels with a perfect rating at first. Get the better ammunition at the end of the game and finish off all levels in a cinch (and wipe the grin off their faces...)

Must say, tis rather satisfying to return to castles after completing the game, that were something of a pain, launching the triple super bomb at the them and sending their occupants into orbit *contended sigh*

Wow, the hard badge becomes much easier once you beat the game and get the reward for doing so. This game may be a bit repetitive but all in all, it's a good game and a fun time waster. 4/5 :D

Ok I have just hit The Pyramid with 40 direct hits. There is one survivor. He is in the first safe room behind the huge tower. I can't fire over the tower to take out that building first. Once the tower falls it shields his room from any hits. There are so many heavy balls on top it should have collapsed long ago. It is now a huge mound and the new shots I fire just roll down the hill on one side or another. This is the third attempt at this level. I give up. No badge is worth this much frustration. The goal of a game should not be to make it impossible to win.

I loved the original and hate this one. The players made this game so freakin hard that it is making me really mad just playing it. I HATE not getting a medal for a take down. Some of these castles are taking 6 or 8 direct hits with my best stones and still standing with all the stones sitting on top. You suck cruel players!

First destroy all castles to unlock a super bomb. Then go for a hard badge - it is much easier. For example, Hatsworth can be taken easily with one shot.

What the heck? I finished the game, finally got all 50 gold. It takes me to some nonsense castle builder, I exit and my game reset and I didn't get the badge?

There should be an achievement for finishing the entire game with 1 shot per castle. I suggest "Uberlord of the Galaxy" as a fitting title.

This last level is driving me mad. For some reason the game lags horribly enough after refreshing the page, as long as I load bombs. You may say, try with pebblestones... except they hardly even make the castle shake.

I have no idea how people can play this. I mean, the majority of castles is very easy, even with gold, but some of them, I even went so far as watching that damn walkthrough, managing to hit the castle exactly where it was hit in the walkthrough, and then the damn pillars just fell in a slightly different way and half the peeps survived because of that. As far as I got it, it's just random chance by now. And this is far too boring to try any further for that hard badge.

There's something satisfying about taking triple large bomb back to the very first stage. You can throw with your eyes closed and it won't make a difference.

Lolz. Jesterjak apparently doesn't like this game. You CAN tell where your attacks will land, if you spend some time practicing.

Without a doubt one of the most annoying castle smash games. The logistics of this game makes no sense. A bomb hits a wall and wall does not explode, it does not shatter or have a shock wave that moves objects next to it. No way to really calculate where your launch will land. Everything is indestructible so if you are trying just to get a silver everything just topples on top of each other, so it impossible to hit objects underneath. So poorly done that it is not even wroth going for all the badges. My favorite part is when you realize where a castle weak spot is and you just can get to it because you have a 50 billion ton tower in the way an no matter where you hit the tower it will not fall in said weak spot to topple tower behind it. Get the daily, and just stop or you will be beating your self up.

Do not bother getting gold or silver at the early castle levels. Your ammo will get better with each country. Once you've got the real powerful ammo, you can replay all old levels and get gold with the first throw. + for others to see

My thoughts on how to rate this. Yay! Crush the castle! 5 stars... Oh wait player designed. 4 stars.
First 3 areas yeah 4 stars is about right.
4th area arrrgh!!!! why is there so much steel did nobody test this before putting it in here? 3 stars.
Final area ... first castle doesn't even move with bombs. 2 stars. Every castle in the final area is like this! 1 star.
2 hours later ... finally get medals on all castles get superbomb. bomb everything in 10 minutes for "hard badge". Now have 3 superbombs. 2 stars.
Seriously crush the castle should not take over 2 hours to get gold on people, and it especially should not be so reinforced with steel that you can bomb it endless without moving anything! I love the Crush the Castle series but please take Player designed levels off the badge of the day. This game is not worthy of the series name.

I rescind my first comment. It seems there's just ONE castle in the ones required for the Badge of the Day that is nearly impossible to knock down.

Gonna be honest, this is not something I'd want to find in a "badge of the day" lineup. Its near impossible to knock down some of these structures unless you hit them perfectly. How is a 1 shot even possible?

Constantly having to reset the level because the castle is nearly invincible unless you hit it perfectly the first time gets old after awhile.
